The release lists Topalovic as 7 feet. Assuming the normal exaggeration factor, that means he's probably 6-9 or 6-10. Looking at his video, he seems to have decent athleticism. Both he and Nicolds look fairly athletic. What they apparently lack right now are skills and minutes. The more I think about this, the more their signings make sense. The only way most Big Sky schools recruit "bigs" is to take undersized power forwards like Solarin or Bradley, or long-term development projects like these kids. (Or take defense only specialists like Magot and Preh). I think it's worth investing a couple of scholarships in long-term development kids to see what you can make them.

I think next year's team will likely struggle to score, especially early as the two freshmen PGs get acclimated. But I like the long term potential of this roster, as long as we can keep the young kids together and developing. And if Anthony Knight is truly on-board as a redshirt, I think the 2015-16 team could be a lot of fun.

I agree with taking on projects if you don't have a bunch of ready made kids knocking on the door. I've seen the big kid Topalovic play, you're right he's 6'10 ish. He looks like he has potential but very raw. Prob a good RS prospect.
Fox will score if needed and can score in bunches. He had to score in the tougher games last year and the year before to win the state championship. He developed into a true pass first point guard this past year and should have averaged 5-6 asst per game but many missed lay-ups and open jumpers. He had games of 39, 32, 30, 29, 27, 27 ,25 and 5 games of 20+ on top of that over the past 2 years. He will look to pass first but will play with chip on his shoulder and score if needed. This should be a fun year to develop and next year could be really good!

RUHS, I'm pretty familiar with Redondo Union. About 30 years ago or so I spent a summer down there at my sister's, and she lived right across the street from RUHS. I spent a fair amount of time running on the track there and played in some pickup basketball games with some of the guys there. Nice location in that it's within walking distance from the bay and a lot of restaurants.

Ah very cool! I've been here in Redondo my whole life. Even went to Redondo Union myself. Love it here! Facilities are as nice as most colleges! I may be visiting Pocatello for a game or 2. ISU has my favorite Redondo player ever!
