Game Day Vs. UNC

lucky, why do I think we are somehow related? Found out recently my son on 23andme had a large shared dna with some guy in Cali. Guy called and we talked to him...looks like I have a new half brother. 6'2 300+lber tated from head to toe(prison/mc club tats) who served time and was in Mongels MC...that's my luck. Ever ride lucky? lol

Exciting discovery! Pretty sure you won't find me in any of those categories although I do have some colorful family.

Ever ride? Nope. No gangs, drugs, promiscuous down low relationships, tatoos or gambling. A.K.A boring. Eating the wife's cooking without a food taster is as dangerous as it gets these days.

The score says one thing but the reality says another, 3 FG's, multiple personal fouls, 3 different possessions inside the 10 yrd line and cant score, kick a field goal up over 30 pts at the half, not the EWU team I'm used to seeing, pissed off, should be game over, damn Best, I'm completely disappointed in this play calling, Montana will destroy us if this is the best we got !! Sorry for the rant !!
 
This is probably the best half of football we've played this year but we really need to focus on committing fewer penalties and scoring points in the red zone?!?!

An 80 spot would signal a different mindset. Don't have Root on Xfinity so can't see what the playcalling inside the 10 yard line looks like from an execution perspective. Silly penalties and negative plays are a staple of this season's team.

Don’t disagree...the play calling in the red zone is puzzling to say the least.

That said, the biggest difference I’ve seen in this game is EB3 is actually playing to his potential, making good reads for the most part with some great throws.
 
Sorenson says Gunnar hasn't been able to move the offense this season. I agree. Where is Burkett? At some point you need to see what someone else can do that isn't a practice player.

No we don't. Heath Pulver is listed as; Tight Ends/Special Teams Coordinator
*guess he's the coordinator opposed to coach. We need either more coordinating or a special teams coach.

So why don't we have a QB in the pipline??? Some really strange shit going on with Eastern right now, new coaches every year, no quality backups and no special teams, hell, we dont even have a punter !! grrrrr

I'm not sure about this, but I believe Trey Turner is our designated #3 at the moment with the knowledge he is limited to four games because of redshirt.

Interesting, based on our home games, we look like a legit Big Sky contender and clear cut top 25 team. Based on our road games, we might be the worst team in the conference incapable of beating anything with a pulse. Strange season.

How the F#$K do you do that?
You have the ball at their one with 49 seconds in the half. You end up at the 5 and kick a field goal on 3rd down and didn't even use all of your time outs!!! We have tall and athletic wide receivers and tight ends and we run the ball into the line... repeatedly. I have NEVER seen such ineptness @ play calling.
After one of the unsuccessful running plays my wife asks me, "why do they keep running there, that is where everybody is"! DUH, she gets it, our play caller DOES NOT.

Gotta be honest. I watched the game and thought we played pretty well. I didn't see anything alarming. With our starters playing, it was 54-7 midway through the third. I'd note that our 2s didn't play well when they got the opportunity, and it wasn't perfect. But if we played that way all year, we'd be 5-2 and the whole narrative on our season would be completely different. The defense, which has been terrible at times, was dominant until we pulled the starters.

Any news on Dre Dorton? He looked pretty banged up. It was a bummer because he never should've tried returning that kickoff from deep in the end zone.
