So far, Davidson completely outmatched as non-schollie PFL team. Richmond QB is huge, but will scramble when needed. We’re gonna have to get pressure on him in the pocket. Udinski (sp) looks super poised and throws a pretty ball.

Richmond pass defense looks like ours, maybe a little vulnerable.
 
27-0 Richmond at half and what is also the ball game. Davidson is awful so not really sure what to take away from this game.

Offensively Richmond looks solid. Their QB will be the best passing QB we'll have seen, although he is not very mobile. Based on that half of football, they like to spread it out and go up-tempo. Lots of short passes underneath and screen plays that set up a shot down the field.

Can't really get much on Richmond's defense as Davidson runs triple option from the shotgun/pistol. Nothing really stood out other than a linebacker that has a nose for finding the ball.
 
Yeah, unfortunately, getting a terrible look from Davidson, it’s the third quarter and Richmond has all of their backups in already. No help…

Quick Synopsis – In their first meeting in over 49 years, Richmond scored on five of its first six possessions to overwhelm Davidson. Quarterback Reece Udinski was 28 of 31 for 246 yards and two touchdowns, setting an FCS single-game playoff record for completion percentage (90.3) with at least 15 attempts.

Game Ball – Udinski, the All-CAA first-team quarterback, posted his fourth game of the season with over an 80 completion percentage on 30+ attempts. He threw 25- (Jakob Herres) and 30-yard TDs (Jerry Garcia Jr.) in the second quarter.

Key Stats – Davidson, which has been outscored by a combined 138-35 in three straight playoff appearances, entered as the FCS leader in rushing yards per game (350.5), but finished with just 123 (the fewest of coach Scott Abell’s five seasons) on 40 carries. Richmond converted 10 of 15 third downs compared to the Wildcats going 2 of 12.

Up Next – Richmond advances to play at No. 2 seed Sacramento State (11-0) in the second round (5 p.m. ET on Dec. 3). It will be a first-time meeting.
 
Seems pretty clear that we probably got the 1st or 2nd toughest opponent (besides maybe Weber State).
 
You’re overthinking it. It’s the 2nd round of the playoffs, there are no bad teams left. Richmond is a talented team, but their style isn't something we haven’t already seen. If the Hornets play like they have been then this should be a win. I’m more concerned with the pressure of finally getting a playoff win getting to this team more than anything as that is something that has eluded Taylor and this program thus far.
