Game Thread: Utah State @ WSU

With Pane deciding to guard Lillard with time running out and Weber obviously letting the clock go, Lillard put on a bit of a dribbing show. Then with ticks still left on the clock, Lillard put the ball in Pane's chest and starting walking off the court. Since there was still time, Pane was totally shocked and that's what ticked him off. Lil was showing him up then gave him some attitude as well. It was truthfully hilarious! That's when Pane threw the ball at Lillard's head and the ref jumped in. Who decides to guard the opposition down 10 with time running out? Come on Stew, get some control. Oh how I love to hate the Aggies. They are always good for some classness stuff like that. Man that was a good win.

Were all 3 refs Big Sky officials? The one guy refused to call anything against USU. It was so blatant it approached the ridiculous, culminating with a no call on a Bullinger mugging towards the end of the game, and one of the other refs stepping over and talking with him. Seriously, the guy could have put an Aggie jersey on. The tall guy wasn't bad and started to take more control the second half because his running mate was embarrassing the whole crew.

Finally, as I sit here is sweet euphoria, may I just say the Grimm is clearly a douche-bag. :lol: :lol:
 
Man i couldnt agree more!! USU really has no class. But they are so high on themselves that no one you talk to will say that they made a few mistakes. 13 Medlin literally threw a fit when a foul was called on him, i was embarrassed for him. and Pane, holy cow, throwing the ball at another player? come on... stew needs to shorten the leash a little. :ohno:

As for joker, i got a thumbs up that it was going to be played the next time out but usu didnt take one! they just gave up and left. We still had good support for everyone, students, fans, everyone! :notworthy:
 
I was at the game and thought we were doomed, as we had Salas (the dark haired ref) and Buzz-Cut (known and loved by all Weber fans - lol) walk out before the game. I figured from past experience, we needed to score 30 + over USU to have a chance. Buzz-cut again forgot his glasses and called a ball out of bounds off Weber in second half, when there was no Weber guy close to the line. And, in a moment of justice and embarrassment, he was over-ruled by the tall ref and it was Wildcat ball. ouch!

Sad to think we will see him at least 7-10 more times this season.
 
Casas is, by far, the worst ref in the Sky. How does that guy get rehired? He blatantly screws over Sky schools whenever they play major conference schools (buckin for a promotion I guess) all I need to say is Utah and Oregon from last season. Yikes!! I'm surprised there weren't more foul shots last night.

Is this something that needs to be addressed with the school? Are the cameras in a bad location with the court lit up brighter than the stands? I would imagine WSU would want to have the best feed possible. I haven't seen a home WSU game on the internet, but I remember other school fans complaining about the quality last year of the video.

no, it was just the one game. audio stopped working 2 minutes in and never came back. picture was really dark for about 80% of the game.
