Dare I ask if the Eagles win this game? Many on the board still love and adore BB.. I love the Eagles winning the Natty but haven't forgotten some of the dysfunction when Eastern had two of the best in the land on offense in Kupp and BigPlay VA and shitty defenses under BB. Guess I'll never get over the loss against Youngstown either when that game was in the bag IMO. BB hasn't been spectacular since leaving EWU although his pay checks were bigger.

For me at this point, winning isn't probably as important as getting the next class onto the field. I'd prefer a QB rotation of Kekoa, Burkett, Turner and steady diet of RB's pounding the rock, all the young LB's playing a majority of downs and most of all...... Time to make the game fun again.

I usually try not to be too harsh and critical thinking people may read our posts. The traffic on here is lower this year and long time posters seem to have pulled back but someone is reading on here but not like the old days. Seems there is 15 or so of us and some just perhaps read and thanks to lucky, and others, remain a good source of info on current affairs/updates and future workings. I really do appreciate all the info posted as I care about this program and all athletic programs and want to try and stay positive and see all programs do well and stay competitive. I did post a rather negative cut on what the heck I'm seeing with the Football team and had second thoughts but not worried to much now about who reads it because use to think/hope maybe powers to be would glance now and again to get a pulse of fans. It's fun to be on here and all posters really know what's going on and I value that.
Onto Sat. and Cal Poly loaded with ex EWU player coaches. Curious why Baldwin hasn't made the team more competitive. Feel free to correct if wrong here but getting really good players much more challenging than any BSC team.

For every 100 applicants, 30 are admitted. This means the school is very selective. If you meet Cal Poly's requirements for GPA, SAT/ACT scores, and other components of the application, you have a great shot at getting in.

I believe we will win in a shootout.

Good point on CP's selectivity. They had a pretty good team under the previous coach until they didn't. Administrations can have a lot of impact on student athlete admittance. I remember watching Pitt disavow their football program after Larry Fitzgerald went pro because they were an "academic" institution.and they sucked for several years afterwards. I know there are some like that at Eastern too who deny the Grecian model of mind, body and spirit.

It's hard to see CP winning this game because Eag's are better, just not sure win's or losses matter at this point. As stated, would prefer to get the next gen in these games because no one wants to see this season repeated. Of course, this feels like a hanging particle because I'm not sure the approach the coaching staff has taken will change, improve or regress further. A lot of wins last year didn't translate this season. Can't say what is going on.
 
Last time Eastern played Cal Poly, it was 62-10. The fact this game is debatable shows what's up this year. It doesn't appear Cal Poly has gotten a lot better, which means the difference is how far Eastern has fallen. I still can't imagine losing to these guys... I sort of expect Eastern to look a whole lot better this weekend. Unfortunately, for 2022, that'd be a case of too little, too late. The wheels have fallen off, now it's time to start putting them back on.

Yeah. Hoping we get a stop on the first drive. Through 6 games, we’ve given up touchdowns on the opening drive in five games. And the only one that didn’t scored on their second.
 
Jeezus, we can’t even line up properly on defense.

We didn’t even have a player lined up within a yard of the line of scrimmage when they scored the TD.
