Gameday Vs. Montana State

I generall try not to whine, but I wonder how the games turns out if the refs don't blow the interception call and Sac makes the FG they would have attempted, making it 21-20. I realize that MSU did not score as a result of the pick, but it may have done wonders for momentum.

Just something to chew on.

We are part of the Big Skid-mark, which means the president of the Big Skid-mark's teams are going to win, i.e. MONTANA teams.

Let's go over to the Great West were a team only needs to win three games to win the conference, like the UCD Aggies. The word on the street is Cal Poly and UCD need regular competitive competition.

I don't know why we are going to Bozeman in very poor conditions to play football. I want all the games in the true West. Are you listening Presidents/CEO's/or-what-ever-you-are-calling-yourselves? I would spend a lot more and donate much, much more if my conference was recognizable.

It is up to you.......

Poor conditions? It actually turned out to be a great day for football. The stadium crew had the field in PERFECT condition, sun was out enough to keep it feeling almost warm and there was virtually no wind.

Good game Hornets! I knew it was going to be a battle the entire game. Your boys have absolutely no reason to hang their heads. You have a great team, and even scarier yet, they are young! You will definitely be making an impact on the conference in the next several years to come.

As for the BSC Commissioner Fullerton, you are truly fooling yourselves if you think he does any "homering" for Montana State. Yes, he was previously our AD, but he did absolutely nothing for our athletic programs while he was there, and has done nothing for them since. While most Bobcat fans will complain and whine about our current AD (Peter Fields), our programs have seen the most growth and success under him. Most MSU fans were ecstatic to see Foolerton move on and we wish he'd leave the Big Sky all together.

Would they have madit that far without the reception that obvously bounced off thee ground. BSC refs are horrible, face it they are not biased, just incompetent.

6 first downs in the second half (3 in one drive) is what did it.

Your guys played a good game, you are going to be tough in Sac next year. Your coach is building a contender.

About the conditions, it was a good day, no worse that playing in high temps in Sac.

About Foolerton, he is a fool and does not benifit MSU or the BSC at all

Last time I checked the GWC has schools located further east than the BSC (North and South Dakota). A move to this conference would be terrible. This conference doesn’t get an automatic bid into the playoffs so the conference champion isn’t guaranteed post season play. Plus all of the schools in this conference have to scrape around to fill a schedule. This would be no different if Sac moved into the GWC. Also there is no “true west” FCS conference. The only way this could happen is if some kind of a re-alignment occurs. The GWC is NOT more recognizable than the Big Sky.

Sounds like the Hornets fought hard and turnovers cost them the game. It’s good to hear that they showed up and were competitive in adverse conditions. Time to focus on the most important game of the year.

Sacks are going to happen when every single play is a pass since we have nothing else. Croxdale runs like he is severely injured

I was at the game (it was cold). I have been watching your comments on some of the other players and have to comment.
You comment about what the situation would be "if TD or McCowen were in there" and "Crox was running like he was severely injured". I thought Crox looked like one of the faster players on the field by waiting and reading his blocks and looked pretty good with what he had to work with. He did come out late in the game with what looked like a stinger.
You are a recent newbie to the board and obviously a Dailey backer and look where he is at? Just as everyone predicted, after his short lived stint at U of W, he's probably not even in Sac, because obviously he has been let go until a later date by the coaching staff.
I wish him luck in his future, but before you start dishing the other players on the team, look at the one's you are backing.

HA22: You are right and know more about that situation than I do. I will refrain from posting during games due to emotion. I just hate to see Sac lose with all this talent.

HA22:
just realize there are 'fans' who will never have anything good to say about Crox. the last 2 games he gets over 200 yards total offense and 3 touchdowns and it's still not good enough.

Ficky - Crox is a stud and hell of a player. It was "my bad" to make that post and I was pissed. I would delete it but its been reposted.

jj2319:

really? you think he's a stud and a helluva player? i wouldn't have guessed that. i read your previous posts, and there is a clear disconnect - "severely injured, he shouldn't touch the ball that much, he is slow..." get your stories straight.

ficky - ha ha you win. I'm not keeping this thread going with you. 11 carries for 32 yards from the starting running back is not going to get it done especially with the caliber of our O-line.

JJ2319:

Since when does the starting running back "start" somewhere in the second quarter?

Hey, give our D a little credit here, our average for the season is allowing 2.5 yards per carry.

Your D-line was outstanding, especially in crunch time (4 sacks on the last 2 Hornet drives)...
