Gamethread: PSU @WSU

One question: How the hell did Weber ever lose to that team? But I guess I could ask the same thing about MSU. Six in a row, and looking very good. Don't know if I've ever seen a team shoot as well as Weber has the past several games. Go Cats!

Back when we lost to PSU, UM, and MSU, we were still searching for an identity without Lillard. That is a huge adjustment to make, when your star goes out with an injury. Add to that, we are using several freshmen and new players in the regular rotation, and its harder yet. The fact that we did make that adjustment and found a way to get better, speaks volumes for our team. The scary part for the rest of our league is that we just keep getting better every game. Coaches always talk about peaking at the right time. Well, we seem to be doing exactly that. You gota love these kids and these coaches. They are doing everything the right way. At this point, I don't care where the tournament is, or who we are playing, I like our chances. :notworthy: :notworthy: :thumb:

That is a good outlook. I like that. In other words lets just enjoy watching this team play no matter what locale. Any game is winnable.

I like our chances as well, but UNC seems to be the toughest matchup for us. We can compete with them as demonstrated a few weeks ago, but they also can beat us. I have respect for their senior-laden team and Beitzel is a great player. Ideally, I would like Montana to take care of them first and then have us meet up with Montana in the finals for some revenge.

What you are saying, then, is that you would like Montana to be the 4 seed and us to be the 2 or 3 seed. Unless, of course, we get the 1 seed. That would be the best of all worlds. We need a little help from NAU for that to happen. If NAU can go into UNC and get a win on March 26th, and we can win out, we would most likely host. Of course, Montana would have to drop one on the road at EWU or PSU. Is possible
