I must be wrong on my interpretation of the touchdown rule. I always thought you just needed to cross the plane. My bad if I'm wrong on that.

LOL, he went out of bounds before he crossed the plane man!

He never touched out of bounds though. Not until he crossed the plane.

My understanding is that the pylon represents the corner of that plane, so the ref on the field ruled the ball went over or inside of the pylon at some point. The replays could not definitively show it didn't, so the ruling on the field is not confirmed by replay, but stands.

We can't tackle at all. We'll most likely lose this game.

Fair weather fan. :ohno:

Maybe you're watching a different game? From what I've seen, our defense can't tackle, and we've squandered multiple opportunities on offense. We look totally undisciplined out there. UC Davis came to play, we didn't, and unfortunately I don't see us coming back from this one.

not sure why we have to wait to half to make adjustments... pretty apparent to me what needed to happen.

I'm not sure what the "adjustment" is for poor tackling or bad passes

The offensive line is showing their youth in this game. I know they've had to mix up the starting lineup quite a bit due to injuries.

I think that is something coaches Best and Baldwin have shown they can make adjustments for at the half.

Looks like Gubrud is out for the second half. I may not agree, but he is our lead guy. We need to show confidence in him.

maybe a QB change fixes the bad passes. I have no idea on the poor tackling. the angles have been really bad.

Unfortunately, bad tackling and bad pursuit angles have been common the past 3 or 4 years. It's looked better at times this year, but today has been ugly after the first couple defensive stops.
