What is your greatest football moment?
In High School, winning the sectional championship in 2006-2007. We had gone two years in a row losing before we won it all that 3rd year.

What teams recruited you the most out of HS and what schools extended scholarship offers?
No one really, I got a load of letters and calls from Utah, Nevada, Boise St., BYU, and tons of D1AAs, DII's and NAIA schools. All the DII's and NAIA's wanted to give me partials so I could come and play for them but I didn't want my parents to pay anything.

What Bengal coach did the primary recruiting for you?
Coach Strandley. He's a great guy.

Why did you commit to Idaho State?
I really enjoyed my visit. The whole deal, meeting with the coaches, players, fellow recruits, teaching staff, and people involved with the program. Pocatello was a great place and I felt that ISU offered everything I was looking for in a school. They also had a LDS chapel near campus and I thought--could this be any more perfect!

What position do you see yourself playing for the Bengals?
I played tackle at the JC level but after meeting with Brad Shedd and Lance Cartwright and seeing how tall they were, I knew I probably would be moved to guard or center. But, I'll play wherever I'm needed.

What do you need to work on the most to play at the college-level? Probably my weight room strength and explosiveness. I got pretty good footwork and I could always perfect my technique. I think explosiveness will be the key for success at the next level.

What is the greatest attribute that you bring to Bengal football? I think I'm a good teammate. I want to be a person that my fellow brothers on the team can look at and depend on. I want them to know that I'll make sacrifices for the betterment of the team.

Do you have anything that you would like to say to fans of ISU?
Let's gets some butts in those seats. This season is for ya'll!

The Journal needs to pick up your work on this, Cub. I know this is a good recruiting class and freshmen rarely make a big difference but the future is looking much better. This is the kind of work that builds excitment and you are to be congratulated. Welcome Puchi Lesu and Go Bengals!
