Glanville loses composure

What can anyone tell me about Jerry coming unglued after the game on the sidelines? I heard through the grapevine he was calling out Chuck Long. Heard it was classless on Jerry's part, maybe even a little whiny!
 
I was sitting in the end zone with a friend. I just caught a glimipse of it.

My friend (who is a PSU fan) was looking right at it and said that Glanville totally dissed Coach Long. Wouldn't shake his hand and waved him off as to say....Get Lost....And ran off the field.

Coach Long was standing next to his AD and they both looked at each like........What the hell was that?

I didn't get it......Not sure what Glanville was mad at Coach Long for.
 
I saw that he didn't shake hands with Long. I thought maybe that he thought you guys were running up the score by passing with your starter in the 4th quarter up 45-17, but it didn't seem too bad to me. I was a little irked at our secondary for running up the score on us. ;-)

Do they have a past between each other? SDSU played UH (when Jerry was DC)in 2005, but Long wasn't the coach at SDSU to my knowledge...
 
No past with Long and Glanville as far as I know.

One thing J Glanville has to understand. Long only won 3 games last year and blew a 14 point lead against D1AA Cal Poly at home to lose 16-14.

People were calling for his head after that game. I am sure that Coach Long left his starters in a little longer than usual to make sure that didn't happen again.

And I don't blame hiim for it.

Oh well, moving on. Good luck to Portland State the rest of the way. The Vikings are my favorite team in Oregon.

Good point, I don't blame him either. You guys needed a confidence boost with your offense and rolling up 50+ points was probably just what the doctor ordered.

Good luck against Cinci. Saw them on the tube this year versus OSU. They looked pretty good...
 
Wah Wah Wah....Don't run up the Score on me Chuck Long! (How about call a defense that could slow down a stiff wind!) Do you know who I am...Wah Wah Wah. Did Jerry learn that approach in the NFL? (Hardest hitting team on the ....never mind!
 
We get your point pash. However you're starting to sound like monsieur negatif over on the o-live board. This board is about constructive criticism, not for you to whine the same way you claim Glanville does.
