GO BOBCATS

I think MSU at least splits at home next weekend (and may well take both games). They've actually played pretty good basketball since their absolute WTF moment at ISU. They would have beaten any team in the league not named UM or Weber today, that's for sure.

Everett,

Uh 2015? Try next seasons Griz team. Bit different having a week to prepare and taking a bus ride in Montana to having less than a day to rest, getting an afternoon start, and playing at 7900' on seniof day to a team that has heart unlike the trashy bobs.

Well, there was a long stretch in that game when KJ had two fouls that UM had 4 sophomores and a frosh on the floor.

And I agree. The SUU game will be difficult. But give me a break with the "heart" stuff. MSU always plays UM tough. It's their rivaly game, and you KNOW that Brad wants to beat Wayne. And I doubt there's going to be 4800 rabid fans in Cedar City. Again, I recognize and acknowledge that tomorrow's game sets up as a potential trap game for Montana, but to suggest that Cedar City is going to be a more difficult envioronment than UM playing in Bozo suggests a lack of knowledge of Big Sky basketball (or is simply a case of serious wishful thinking).

Im sorry, but I watched that game last night, and pumping your chest about beating a team that looked completely inept last night and barely being able to hang on for a win is laughable.

MSU was horrible last night. If UM would played against the MSU team that played in Missoula, it would have been a different game.

Hey, I'm not pumping my chest over that win. I said it was solid. It was. UM was missing two of the best 5 players in the entire league and won on the road against their rivals. That's solid, whether you care enough to take of the weber blinders long enough to admit it or not.

And Weber certainly didn't look like a championship team last night either. And yet, I sure saw a lot of high-fiving going on in that game thread on this board. Let's be honest, MSU > NAU. And MSU is Montana's rival. I know other programs don't uderstand the heated rivalry that exists between those two schools. There's no way you can. Trust me, UM got MSU's best shot.

come on sir, thats a bit hypocritical after we just beat a team that is 11-18 in OT. win is a win, all you remember is the W on paper.

everett though should not be so selfish though and want us to win it all since his team did last year.

But I'm not pumping my chest after we escaped Flagstaff with a win, we were very fortunate that NAU missed freethrows and we were making ours (that's a first) and we are very lucky that that ref that called the offensive foul on NAU (which was the right call) had the guts to make the call.

We were LUCKY to come home with a win.

Heavens...Weber is more than lucky to have gotten out of Flag with a W. And you are right Wildcat...the foul on Max Jacobsen was not a charge, but a moving screen. You can't throw your body at a player while attempting a screen. Jacobsen definitely commited a foul and he didn't have to. He had already created the space and then made the extra contact, which was a dumb play on his part, but it is what it is.

Duder...it was bad. MSU looked beyond beat. All you have to do to beat the bobs is play a zone.

Montana State looked Horrible on saturday, why couldnt they look that bad when we played up in Bozeman :wtf:

Way too much one on one and jacking up 3 balls with like 25 seconds left of the shot clock, UM really didnt have to try hard in that first half, then in the 2nd half MSU figured out they had an advantage inside and they finally started taking it to the rim, and the game became a game. Too little too late

Heard that Ward is out for the season. Cherry could be back as early as this week. Could be wrong though.

Last offensive foul wasn't a charge but a moving screen. Great call by the refs (isn't that somewhat of an oxymoron? Great call by the Big Sky zebras? ). Weird that Weber's bigs were out most of the game in Flagstaff, but the refs were favoring Weber. :dunce:
