So excited by the way the season has started!!! These kids are working very very well together!! Lots of depth and versatility!! Now comes the real test SMU has some beasts in their front court!! I see them beating Indiana, NKU and EOregon easily the rest will be hard fought!! Looking forward to it!! Go Eagles!! Remember Murph!!

Goal in these big games I think is to compete and stay injury free. Run your sets, play hard and represent our school and conference and make yourself proud. C'mon Eags!!

when was the last time we opened the season at 3-0? i caught part of the Texas Southern game and it looks like this is going to a team to be reckoned with in the big sky.

Well, I went back and looked and it hasn't happened since before 2001-02. That's as far as the website went back. A handful of years we lost the first game and then won the next 3.

We've certainly had a good start to the season, but I think we'll have a better idea how we're going to stack up against Big Sky competition after the SMU and Indiana games. No offense to Texas Southern, the other teams we've played, or our own Eagles, but those teams certainly didn't look very competitive. Or it could just be that we're going to be really good this year. 8-)

:+1: I just hope we can give them a game. Who knows, if we keep it close the 3 ball maybe able to sneak us a win.

I've watched the SMU v Gonzaga game several times now and I think once our kids get over some jitters they will pull it out late in the game!! SMUs backcourt does not take care of the ball well and with some pressure from Tyler and Drew we will have a dominant turnover ratio that will make the difference!! Go Eagles Remember Murph!!

Hope you're right. SMU is down right now. Lost 2 in a row.
