GoViks.com to be re-designed

A breath of fresh air, Christholm is totally rolling with the momentem and I love it. Seems like he was the right AD for the job. Cant wait to see the finished product.

Same here.

Man has Glanville cleaned house here at PSU. Just thinking back to this time last year, we are just a totally different program. Can't wait for the UC Davis game!

Just another sign of an ever improving athletic department. I'm glad to see it, I've been waiting for years now. Glanville looks to have been the perfect hire, but soon the rubber hits the road and we need wins. I'm already excited for Saturday's game!

Then they should know that game highlights would be an awesome addition to the site for those away games that we only get to hear on the radio. i think more stories on individual players would be awesome too so that fans could get to know the individual players and feel more connected to the team.

These are both outstanding suggestions. I just feel like the current site is underutilized when it comes to fostering community among the current fan base.

I'd also like to see a direct link for purchasing PSU gear. Unless I'm mistaken, you currently have to make a couple of clicks before ending up on the PSU bookstore site.

Another suggestion. Have a link for this site on goviks.com, or is that against the rules?

I think Jeremy asked them to link this board, and they said they would. He'd need to confirm.

Correct, I was told they would but they never did, I may e-mail them again.

I've on few occasions talk to people at the athletic dept. on the phone and left the conversation frustrated. I know the growth this year has increased immensely, they're short staffed and the season is about to begin, but the problems need to be addressed. The athetic dept. should put this site on their links in a heartbeat. Not a technical expert, but it doesn't seem to be that of a big deal. I just didn't know if it was allowed by ncaa rules.

It would help a lot membership wise. I remember the admin at the Northern Colorado forum telling me he had his sites link up on the athletic site, who knows. I'll ask soon.
