The dedicated football site at go.viks.com is up. It isn't complete, but there is improvement.

The front page look is very similar to most big time schools. When the site is complete, it should be a definite asset to the athletic department.

Yeah, they're definitely missing some guys, but just having a roster up is much better.

Speaking of fan paraphernalia, who turns out that stuff? Those three shirts advertised at the boolstore are a little lame. Fred Meyers has OSU/UO sweats and all prominently displayed - what does it take to get that?

Hm, I don't think the selection at the bookstor is lame at all (the real bookstore, not the website).

However, where in the world can I get the black Nike shirts that say "This is Portland State"? I've seen them everywhere at the ballpark, but I have no idea where to buy them.

I've not seen the black ones that say that, but I have one of the green ones. Picked it up at Joe's last year. I'll check for a black one next time I drop by there.

All of those This is... shirts are Nike made, so you'll have to get the official gear.

Thanks for sharing, marty. I'll check Joes out. Lots of stuff is Nike made. I'll be happy to support the company and I hope Phil notices and buys us a basketball arena and a 30k stadium.

I really like the new site. The layout is impressive as our the images and video. A job well done to whomever did it!

I don't like the roster, You used to be able to click on each individual player and get their Bio, did I miss something or maybe they are still working on it?

They are still working on it. There are quite a few holes if you keep picking through it.

I do like the fact that you can rearrange the roster based upon the various factors listed especially the academic year of the players. When you do that you have a real idea of what position players the team will be looking for in the future. I do wish we had pictures of the players as we did before the makeover.
