SACRAMENTO STATE ATHLETICS FINISHES OFF RECORD-SETTING YEAR IN THE CLASSROOM

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Sacramento State athletics continued its strong showing in the classroom as Hornet student-athletes are now averaging an overall grade point average of 2.98, the highest GPA for the department since the program joined the Div. I ranks in 1991-92.
In addition, Sacramento State student-athletes combined for a 2.89 GPA during the spring semester, which was the third consecutive semester to see an increased GPA for the athletics department.
