The biggest thing I'm concerned about is all the injuries. We had a bunch of them.
TJ Lee - Back (Huge loss)
Chase King - Concussion
Shaq Hill - Dislocated Shoulder
Allen Brown - Concussion
I think there were others. The concussion guys I doubt will be back for next week. The Lee i jury is problematic, as we are very thin there.

I am also concerned about all the injuries. There was some serious hitting out there. I think they were about to call in the water boy.

I'm just playing around. I thought we played great today. We gave up a lot of points, but you could put a lot of that on the fact our offense had a lot of short possessions and hung our defense out a few times. Our offense played that high-risk, high-reward style all game long and it paid dividends. We were a little sloppy at times (Shaquille Hill will be dying to live his down), but we made some phenomenal plays. To their credit, they made some big plays as well and almost went toe-to-toe.
Still, I wish we'd at least work to milk a little time off the clock when we build leads. And yes, the injuries are a concern--- especially TJ Lee III.

Just a word to those who post here regularly ... you will start seeing posts by an a..hole from Sam Houston Institute of Technology who uses the name "Nickels". Pay no attention to him. His posts on the Cal Poly forum were intended to inflame, and I've seen his posts on the AnyGivenSaturday forum, too. You'll be hearing from him. Just delete him from your mind.

I know Eastern has to give an allotment to Illinois State, so a sellout refers to Eastern selling their entire allotment.
Just saw Forte had 116 rushing yards... man, does that help our offense. He's starting to learn the cut back on the zone play, and he used it 2 or 3 times today for nice gains.

Yah there was a couple of times he looked like the second coming of Jones. Nice to see the shot gun draw work again as it was the kiss of death last year.

lost in all of this is the fact that Kyle Padron tied a school record by throwing for 6 tds in this game.
