Guess the HC attendance

12K

Homecoming is homecoming. Though perhaps the experience would be enhanced if we elected a court and had a parade.

Offer mortgage assistance advice and we can fill up the stadium.

i was looking at the online version of the Bee, and didn't see a preview for your game. Coming off the epic Montana State game, and heading into homecoming, i figured to see something....was there anything in the print version?

let me guess..kings had a preseason game? grant high has a big game coming up? mountain lions write-up?

i don't get the bee.....let me restate...i don't UNDERSTAND the bee.....

i don't receive either, but, that's not my point!

Maybe when the Kings leave they'll be forced to cover us.

Does anyone remember pre-Kings Bee coverage?

I don't remember too much we would want covered in some of those pre Kings years! This team however does deserve much more positive coverage for their efforts.

I am going to go with 11,000, which was about what the attendance was the last time Northern Colorado played here of course that was the week after we won the Causeway at davis and their was a little more excitement.

Honestly I am not really concerned about the attendance tomorrow, I just want to see the Hornets get on a roll and run the table. They have played well all season, overcame a lot of injuries and inexperience against some really good competition. It is time that they finally claim a record that reflects their efforts. The attendance issue will improve only if the school gets it act together and aggressively promotes the program. This this a especially important time for the program, the team is talented and playing well. Looking at next year's team, with Reed, Hendershott, Gordon, White coming back from medical redshits, joining all that we have returning plus another good recruiting year it looks like the deepest in talent and by far the best Hornet team ever to take the field. We also will have an very attractive home schedule. It would be a shame if we don't step forward and seize this opportunity to fully expose the Sacramento market to just how good this program is.

Nope.

Couldn't have been very good. Can't imagine division 2 teams get very good press anywhere, though I guess there are exceptions. A city with a metro area of around 2 million without a professional sports team (from the big 4) might be more open to supporting and paying attention to a division 1 program.

Still think the attendance will be around 9,000. Better weather should get more people out, and the greeks will probably show up since its homecoming (maybe 2-300). There weren't any big promotions or attempts to hype up the game on campus despite it being homecoming. This program's marketing department makes me sad.

I heard the Homecoming game being promoted on our local ESPN radio station (1320am) a couple times early this week. It sounded similar to the Mountain Lions promotion only not as frequent, but it was good. Maybe that'll help. Weather will be perfect. May get 10,000.

i listen to KHTK from time to time during the week, and i never heard them mention the Sac-Bobcat game once, even on Monday. I think they interview Bob Biggs weekly, else, there is no mention of Sac area college football. they were talking yesterday about all the things going on this weekend in the area, talked a bit about Cal-UCLA, Stanford-UCLA..you think by ACCIDENT they would mention either Davis or Sac.

i'm guessing Sperbeck has an interview show on a local channel? do they mention you guys at all besides that?

good luck today; my son is coming up for Homecoming, so you just need 9999 others to get to 10000. Davis should draw around that too for its homecoming and first game at home since school has started.

if the two schools combine for something like 25,000 on the same night, that's a healthy sign for the future!

watching on BigSkyTV..there's about 20 people on the visitor's side (which they show on the play-by-play camera), so unless there's 10k on the home side, its not a great crowd.

sounds like Davis had a 'sell-out' tonight for homecoming win over South Dakota (who knocked off Minnesota). I missed it (long story....first home game i've missed in 7 years), but it sounded electric on the radio. that's one nice thing of a football-only complex...it can be loud!

good luck on the road the next two weeks.
