What the Frick,
SUU played Breward College, Who cares how thy spell it, its D2!
who has a whopping 700 students in north carolina.
whats with loading the schedule up with division 2 creme puffs so your players can have some nice stats so they can make all conference.
Glad we played a Pac 12 school and the defending national champs for our none conference games.
We need to put a can of whip azz on SUU as a matter of principle.
Is there really that much pressure on the coaching staff at SUU that they play division 2 schools to help their record. Hope WSU and Hill never get that desperate and start scheduling D2 schools. I guess we could always schedule a JC like Snow college.
Several Big Sky schools play non-D1 schools every year. It's not that uncommon. And I've heard people argue that Weber should do the same. Other than Brevard, their schedule has been difficult, including games at USU (they should of beaten the Ags) and at a very good S Dakota St (same team that beat Kansas). SUU isn't a bad team, and they've beaten us the last two years. This game won't be a gimme by any means. But I agree, Weber needs to open a can on em!

Hey Garside, if you're reading this please try to get us some information on the QB situation. Why was Shaw put in the game and then replaced by Clark? I think we all agree that Clark is not getting it done and Shaw was rather impressive in the limited time he played.

Just a quick update from around the Big Sky, at the half, Sac. St 20, EWU 7...

And they choke in the 2nd half, EWU 28 Suck St. 20
No real upsets today. Idaho St looks like they're back to being Idaho St, losing by 72 :yikes: to a bad UNLV team. Bungles must of spent way too much time in the casinos and booby bars last night.

some one please tell me how many years has it been since WSU football won three straight games in a row????We beat SUU and WSU does something that hasn't happened in a long long time??

2010 - @ISU, vsPSU, vsUM; 6-5 on the season(5-3 BSC), including a respectable game at Boston College, a 4OT win vsNoCo, and an @sskicking at Texas Tech.

1-3 against SUU the last 4 years, including 0-2 at Stewart Stadium. But now we have their secret weapon: Steve Clark
When was the last time we could say we were in 1st place!?

This "thread" has certainly stretched out beyond the subject matter...to a few comments about BSC action, one or two about BYU getting humbled & hopes (?) for the Utes, which is perfectly normal. Can only add that Coach Hill made some comments about the play of Clark & Shaw with Arky on KLO, but they were only positive (he was pleased with both) & lacked any explanation of what's going on except to say it's time to get some reps for some backup players & not just at the end "garbage time" of the game.

And Oh, by the way, I'm happy as can be with Utah's impressive win over Oregon by 42 pts on national TV. As for me, I'll celebrate any time/any day when a instate football team wins over out-of-state teams, especially against an Oregon, Michigan, Nebraska, Boise State, etc. Whether its the Utes, Cougars, Aggies, Thunderbirds...my opinion is it's a win for the entire state of Utah!!! :twocents:

Just saying...my opinion, & I realize that I'm in the less than 10% of posters on this forum that's not a former athlete (jock)...just merely a long time fan & trash talking about other teams or over analyzing about individual players just isn't my thing or interest. :twocents:

Weber has played the DIIs before plenty of times & you can count on it again if they go to playing 6 home games, inside sources have said so (earlier thread).

i like the fact that WSU are playing up on our non conference schedule. NOSU and NDSU were good picks. I don't see NDSU scheduling D2 teams on their schedule these days.....Congrats to Jerry and Jay to have the balls to keep playing up and getting the program better instead of padding the schedule to make everyone feel good.
