Seattle men's basketball coach Jim Hayford has been placed on administrative leave and the school is reportedly investigating incidents in which he allegedly used racial slurs.

So never a fan of the guy, but if he was truly asking if the word was used...and said N-word and not the actual word...not sure if he should be called out for it and suspended. Its a teachable moment. Maybe I'm off in my thinking.

Yah his comments in the release came across pretty scathing. Never seen someone lambast a outgoing coach like that in a release. Usually its best of luck in future or nothing. He let him have it.
 
He built the groundwork of a special program here, but I heard similar comments about his handling of students and the abrasive atmosphere he created.

I suspect he's probably toast longer term.
