Highest Attended 2011 Tourney Game Is

I think it was the prices, more than anything else. I think that all of the die hard fans were there. The prices were set by the BSC not WSU. It looked to me like most of the tickets sold were of the higher price variety. Those prices are OK. However, the scaling should start lower down, and should end at a price where a family with kids can come without refinancing their home. Students, from both schools, should be absolutely free, with a hot dog and drink thrown in for good measure. :nod:
 
Even though the students had to pay, there was a really good student section. For only have 3500K fans at the game, the Dee was extremely loud on Saturday night.
 
From the looks of it, I would have guessed more like 5,000+ at that game. I saw some students waking through and just showing ID. No tickets. I am wondering just how many of those there were. They weren't coming in from the north east side. I think the ticket takers weren't sure what to do with them. Word probably got out about it.
