Great to see the Bears hold serve at home. Portland St. and Sac St are both solid clubs this year. Both of these games could have gone differently if the Bears hadn't dug in and performed on both ends of the floor in the second halves.

Let's hope the last 3 games are the beginning of something special. Play defense, shoot it well and make your free throws will always end in good results.

Yep a pair of great wins but it does not get any easier with the upcoming 3 game road trip with ND,EW and Idaho ! Go Bears !
 
Congrats to your nephew (I believe you're Tevin's uncle?) on his weekend and capturing conference player of the week honors. The team really needed someone to step up in this early, critical home weekend and it sounds like he answered the bell. Good stuff!

I hope that wasn't to offensive being accused of being me.

Thanks ITSaBearThang, Tevin did have a nice weekend. I'm going to be able to make the trip to Grand Forks for this Saturdays game against UND. Let's hope the Bears can keep it going :thumb:

Haha, no offense at all !! You must be very proud of Tevin. As a fan it has been a pleasure watching him play and I hope The Bears have a great 3 game road trip !

Thank you for the kind words. The thing I've enjoyed the most over the last 5 years has been watching all the young men evolve into better people outside of basketball. Don't get me wrong, I love the basketball. It's just not what defines these young men.
