Come on Wildcat fans let get out to this game and support OUR Cats!! This team needs some love from the local community. Should be perfect weather, and playing against a team we have a chance against. (No Thanks to Mr. Bovee for a shit schedule again) Come on out to the game and bring your friends.
LETS GO WILDCATS!!!!!

I dont know i liked our football schedule, much better than basketball thats for sure. We got a home and home with the 4 time defending national champs? Cant complain about that...
Also had a chance to really give a Pac12 school a run for their money, schedule to me isnt the problem. That stagnate offense seems to be the problem..

WSU football hasnt had more than 5 home games in a season since 2008. That IS a problem, and that IS Bovee's fault. Hard to build much excitement locally when by the time your first home game comes around you are already 0-2. 1 home game in the first month of the season is ludicrous.

well said,
the fact that the first home game is also your homecoming game is a joke!
Another first!, name another college that their first home game of the season is homecoming? never seen it before, wow what a great new tradition!!! HA

Yes yes I agree with that. Need another home game.
But the issue with that is we dont make the revenue to support the program. The money that these schools pay us to come there supports our program. Im not sure how the home & home works money wise but I know OSU put up big bucks to have us come up.
Yes a better team helps because more people want to come watch but right now that isnt the case. We could market better :dead: (homecoming this week? who knew...) but that isnt happening. Hopefully in a few years (or who knows even a year) we will have a team who is fun to watch, maybe even a new marketing director, & those two things would help get another home game cuz I agree, Id rather watch the cats at home then on TV but right now i dont see that happening.

It's HOMECOMING?? WTF?!! What, when, how did this happen? Who in their right minds has homecoming as the first home game of the season? Ludicrous! I'm guessing the culprit; Marketing?! Who would have thought?

Ahhh yes, the most frequently complained about subject on the Weber State Fans Forum. Jerry Bovee is master of his house. Even if he tries to disassociate himself from the issue, it is like poop and stuck on him. He has to deal with the problem! Instead of trying to improve the situation, I think he pretends that there isn't a problem. Hmmm, truly, the absolute most frustrating problem at Weber State that never gets dealt with. Jerry, please take this seriously and improve the incompetent impotence that is Weber State Athletic Marketing.

AS for the game, well, Weber finally gets to play at home. What should we expect? More of the same probably. Emotionless offense that shots itself in the foot, can't move the ball, and is totally ineffective.

Dunno, by the time a traditional Homecoming rolls around, the Wildkitties are 0/1 and 4/5/6, and the snow starts flying, they have an even tougher time generating interest. It is weird having HC as the home opener but it's also a joke when you have have HC and nobody shows up. Regardless of when HC is, Weber has to start generating more interest with wins, or at least an offense that is familiar with what the end-zone is for.

Hey Wildcat fans. Only 3 days until our Wildcats kickoff their home opener against Sac State on Sat, Sept 19 in Stewart Stadium. Tailgating starts at 4 pm and kickoff is at 6 pm. Show your America First Credit Union card at the Dee Events Center Ticket Office prior to game day and receive 4 tickets and 4 Wildcat t-shirts, courtesy of AFCU. WSU students are free with valid Wildcard, and 4 guests are free when you scan your Wildcard at the stadium entrance. ‪#‎WeAreWeber‬

This is the first ad I have seen and they give you 3 days to go over to the Dee to get your free tickets? If not find a student and tag along with them.

Received an email from AFCU that said you can get tickets on game day as well from the box office at the stadium.
