Sac State senior high jumper Miles Grant cleared 7 ft 1.5 in without a miss in at a qualifier at TX A&M. This is the third-best in school history; the record of 7 ft 3 in has stood since 1979. He will be joined at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Oregon in June by steeplechaser Tia Oliver.
