Hornet women's basketball starts off big.

Our Hornets go down to Montana by 8 points in front of over 3K at Montana after being up by 2 points with 2 minutes left. A tough 2 loss road trip to the Montana schools. One more road game next week at Portland State and then home for 5 of the last 7 Big Sky games for the now 2nd place Hornets.

Hornets will come back strong and finish strong.

Go Hornets!!

The ladies played hard. Good game, momentum went back and forth, we just went a little cold at the end.
They will bounce back!

Go Hornets!

Hornets win big tonight at Portland State to remain one game behind Montana at 8-3.

10-12 overall now and a chance to get to 500 with home games against EWU and Idaho at hornet Gym coming up.

5 out of the 7 final Big Sky games at home

Hope fans come out and fill up Hornet Gym as it has been a common trend of late and great to see. And every game with this Hornet team is great to watch as they step on the gas from start to finish. 100 points at Hornet Gym is common. The Hornets scored a mere 90 tonight in Portland. And would be great to see big crowds for the seniors on this team who have been such a huge part of making Hornet basketball at the Division 1 level relevant.

Go Hornets!!

Hornets take down Idaho for the 2nd time this year and remain just one game behind Montana in the loss column. The Griz went down in the final seconds at home to UNC today. Looks like several teams will be battling it out for the Big Sky regular season title with 5 or 6 games to go for all the teams. Sac State is right there. Huge bummer on Thursday night with EWU coming back for a last minute 1 point win in Hornet Gym. But the Hornets shake it off and come bak strong. that is what it is all about.

Best of luck to our hornets on their final regular season road trip..the long one to UNC and UND.

Go Hornets.

Congratulations to the Hornets for a

123-77 victory over PSU

Sole possession of second place in the Big Sky with two more regular season games at home

Record breaking win.
Many other records fall.
Great Hornet team
Best ever in Big Sky play

Hope to see some larger crowds at Hornet Gym for the final two games. Only 380 today. This team is our best team in Big Sky history . Time to pack Hornet Gym and keep the big basketball buzz going on campus.
