Hornets beat Davis and move to 8-1

84-78 Hornets over Aggies in Davis.

Best start in 37 years!!!

And this win gives Sac State a fighting chance at the 2013-14 Causeway cup that was looking pretty slim with Davis ahead 37.5 points to 2.5 points after fall sports. Now it is 37.5 to 22.5 Davis ahead with gymnastics and all the sprring sports remaining in the all sports trophy between the rival schools.

Amazing start for Sac State basketball. Congratulations and keep it going next week as the Montana schools come to Hornet Gym to open Big Sky play.

And Saint Marys (which the Hornets beat) just beat #24 Gonzaga. Keep it going and let's fill the gym for Montana next Saturday!

And so does the entire Hornet team. They are such fighters and do what is needed to win.

Was great today to listen to the game on Hornet Sports and hear just Sac State fans cheering at Rec Hall. Loving that Great to see Sac fans at an away game. Sac fans are certainly crazy and loud at Hornet Gym.
 
Another amazing win, congratulations ladies and coaches! Every win is special especially when you have a chance to push the dungpilers face further into the slop! On to see how much damage they can do to the in the Big Sky! I hope that the Nest is packed on Thursday vs MSU and Saturday vs Montana, this team certainly deserves it!
