HORNETS vs. ISU BUNGLES

Hornets: 24
Bangles: 3

Would be nice to shut them out, but I dont think it will happen.

Attendance: 8,237 (what a random number)

Hornets 31
Bengals 14

Hornets get their revenge and delight a Homecoming Crowd of 10,465......well except for the 27 Bengal fans!

I encourage everyone to bring 4 friends to this game. It would be nice to have over 10K again in the stands. We need to keep building the attendance. I would love to see nothing less than 10K a game all year.

This is going to be the first Hornet home game I've missed in a long while guys... I need you to pick up the slack for me...

Hornets 38
ISU 9

It would really be a shame if ISU gets a TD on the starting defense. It would be more of a shame if the Hornets don't score on every drive. A win here virtually guarantees the Hornets will not finish in the basement of the Big Sky. Also a solid win will give the Hornets some much needed momentum heading into Ogden to face the struggling yet deadly WSU Wildcats. With that said, they need not overlook ISU and they need to take care of business.

The Bengals last victory was a 36-33 overtime win over the Hornets to close the 2008 season in Pocatello.

Stay focused! Keep the streak alive.

They beat us last year. Just sayin.

If we can score 30 on EWU, keep the dogs on them. Full game for Weber.

Not a lot of chatter here... Are we all just positive that we're going to punish ISU?

I don't think we're good enough to consider any game a "gimme"... But this is as close as it gets for us this year...

Good point. From the reading I have done (thank you SacRat), I think our chances are good; however, I don't want to see any complacency. And, I don't think we will. Our Hornets are ready to add another W.

I say the Hornets by 30 and over 12,000 in attendance; since, it is Homecoming and the half way positive article in the Bee by Schumacher.

Go Hornets!!

yeah! Coaches were totally responsible for how poorly Smith played on the field (completed 11-of-27 passes for 99 yards.)

yeah! coaches didn't have him ready to play along with the rest of the team. Remember they were 0-11 and we had a chance for a winning season! Talent wise we were better at every position on the field. This was a debacle by the coaches. Sac Rat you've been watching lousy football for too long, you need to quit excepting mediocre coaching. See you at the game.

Yeah and USC has better talent than Washington who they lost to this season or Oregon State who they lost to last season. I don't think that the folks at USC are calling for Pete Carroll's job. Athletics is sometimes not just talent or even coaching, unexpected things just happen, that's why they play the game, that's why it is interesting.

Remember we also beat a good EWU last year in Cheney and NAU the year before both games that nobody expected us to be in. We also completely out coached davis last year.If you are giving the coaches all the blame for Idaho State then you must also give them all the credit for the games they win.

Mediocre football? How about lousy football. I have had to make up for it by watching SEC every weekend. 2-9 (2003), 3-8 (2004), 2-9 (2005), 4-6 (2006), coaching change, 3-7 (2007), and then 6-6 (2008) with a win over that school across the causeway, and you want to dump all over the coaches for their "debacle." Smith had a lousy game. C'mon, you can say it. If your teachers had taught you to be more objective, your take wouldn't be so bad. : )
