Hornets vs. WOU

I was at the Stanford game and based on the performance of the defense I believe WOU is going to be able to score. I expect Sac to run the ball extremely well with both Hilliard and Shaw breaking off long TD runs.

Sac 41
WOU 27

So you think the defense against the WOU offense will even closely resemble what the defense looked like against the Cardinal offense? Is there QB another Andrew Luck? They have receivers like he had and an offensive line like they had? Sorry, I don't think so. Look for a defense that will crush the WOU offense. Stanford will make a lot of Pac 10 defenses look really bad this year.

Andrew Luck is very good, but so is his O-Line. I HIGHLY doubt WOU's O-Line is anywhere near the same caliber of Stanfords! Again, ANY comparison of WOU and Stanford is crazy, they arent even in the same universe with regard to football, NO comparison can be made between the two teams, NONE!

I was at the Stanford game as well, and you know what I saw? I saw a BCS, PAC 10 team play an FCS team. Enough said.

I'm not comparing Stanford and WOU-I'm assessing Sac St.

USD beats Minn
JMU beats VT
NDSU beats Kansas
JSU beats Ole Miss

But people on this board justify Sac getting throttled by Stanford. That was not a game I expect to win but when you give up 38 points in the first half you should say we'll destroy our next opponent. I hope we do but they need to show something first. No more talk, time to show it on the field!

I agree, the only game that was close in playing our FBS stretch has been CSU 23-20 a few years ago, otherwise they have all been blowouts. Be nice to play a BCS and win or at least play close.

If we dont finish 7-4, at least, this year, I am going to be sorely disappointed.

Wonderful. Looks like Big Sky TV is having issues. :(

Radio is saying Fleming is getting the start. MBT still affected by his ankle injury.

Wilkins opens the game with a good return to the Hornet 45. Still no Reed or Hendershot. Shaw makes a huge catch and run to the WOU 11 yard line. Norisse catch to the 1 yard line. 3rd and short. Hilliard TD!!! Welcome back!!!

Sounds like Gordon is not playing again either. Hornet D starts with a 3 and out. Well done.

Sounds like the defense is giving up some ground.

Nash with a huge hit and a sack on a WOU 3rd and long!
Near INT thrown by Fleming. Shaw picks up 11 yards on a run. Hilliard bangs up the middle for 5. Hendershot is put in the game.

1st and goal at the 8 for the Hornets. 2nd and goal at the 5. End of the first quarter 7-0 Hornets.

Hilliard in again!!!!! TD Hornets!!!

TD WOU. Sounds like the defense isn't improved at all from last year. 14-7 Hornets.

Radio guys just said Shaw has movement in his arms and legs.

What is up with all these Hornet injuries!!!!!

Hendershot makes a catch! Good to see him producing.

1st and goal Hornets at the 7.
