Well I think it worked. I think we got under his skin. Going into the game he was shooting 75% from the foul line. He shot 46% and missed four in a row including the stupid flagrant shots. I think in that stretch he was playing emotionally out of control. Not that the guy ever plays in control. Good Job students!

 
I thought that was great. I would love to see the student section pick a player from each visiting team and pick on him like they did with Hot Dog Huff last night. :protesst:
 
It would be nice if the Signpost ran a story on student involvement highlighting this as an example of student ingenuity (even though I know it was fully driven by webergrad02...awesome by the way!!). It would show students on campus what they are missing.

Who would be interested in helping to purchase, for next season, wall signs to put up either on the bell tower or on a building on campus? The wall signs would be the schedules for Men's Basketball and football? Also, I'm looking for about $24K to give out 12 $1000 scholarships (2 per year) to good looking girls who just need to show up to sporting events, stand on the front row, and cheer the entire game (maintain a 2.5gpa). If there are good looking girls the guys will just show up and follow. We know we all would. I would also help pay for a DJ to assist a student organization if they wanted to chill on campus during weeks of major/home games. I'm sure we could get lots of food and drink sponsors on campus too to hand out foods. Better signs that tell students about the games would also be helpful. Hell putting balloons on the current athletics signs would be a step in the right direction. It isn't hard folks.

I wonder how many students even look at the Signpost? It didn't seem like a majority did when I was in school. I'm not suggesting it's not a good idea, unlike what was suggested about the same thing with the "substandard." It would be interesting to know how many students actually look at the Signpost vs the Standard sports section. Either way, I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want at least double the exposure for ANYTHING that could potentially boost attention/interest in WSU. Paying fans could certainly step up their support of WSU athletics just as well as the students could.
 
Well we get to Hot Dog Huff again tomorrow. It appears that Huff lets things rattle him. He went 3 of 14 tonight, but got to the charity stripe 15 times. Hopefully we can clean up the boards much better than PSU did. We know the formula to stopping these guys. We can't let Nash beat us either.
 
Hey, was that you asking hot dog for an autograph after the first game? Did he really turn you down? Is the guy with the hot dog suit stil around?
 
Stefan under his breath of course, told all us Fing Mormon to go f ourselves after the first round game on thurs. he couldn't take kiltmans harassment I guess. Lol
 
I was kinda mean to Stefan... :lol: And it was me talking to Huff. I was offering him a souvenir. His autograph is worthless.
