With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

How are we looking?

Hey all,

I'm back from my hibernation full of Pacific Northwest sun and Sounders soccer and was curious to see how everyone is feeling for the upcoming season. I took a look at the schedule, and it's looking like a 4-5 win kind of season.

I have not been out to practice yet, but looking at the roster and schedule I see a winning season again, but if we can't stay healthy I see about 3 wins.

Anyone attend any of the past two scrimmages, and want to comment? This board has been REALLY inactive lately and there is only two more weeks until the first game. C'mon Bears fans...

All I know of is what I have read in the Tribune which is not enough. I think we are looking good at QB, running backs and WR's. Defensively, I have not heard much outside of Singleton looking to be a leader on Defense. Hoping for a much improved kicking game. I still think it will come down to the O-line as to how they will perform and how they hold up . Need more info on the Defense. Anybody got anything ? The schedule is very tough and will be interesting how well we do.

I mean, I'm in the Seattle area and since there is little to no reporting going on to get an in-depth look I have nothing to contribute and I feel that's the same with anyone else. Add in the fact that this team has the stink of losing for the past decade and it makes for an apathetic fan base. It's a death sentence really for fan interaction.
Although if the team looks good I may make the 2.5 hour drive to Portland for the Portland State game. (If anyone else is planning on being there)

I should be up for making game day threads like last year- but even then it was me and 1-2 other people talking about the game at best.

True. This board is active only when a football coach is fired or trouble happens. It could be worse, NAU has absolutely NO activity on their message board and they have a really good football team - no one is "talking" about them.

I attended the second scrimmage last weekend and I thought the team looked solid. The defense appears to be more physical than in the past and the veteran offense looks like they'll pick right up where they left off last season.

Anyone seen a depth chart?

If you read Mustari's latest article in the Tribe, he alludes to it.

Okay, but I only get a couple of clicks of that crap a month before they shut me off

It's game week, preview should be up.

If you actually want to read an excellent season preview on the Bears, this is the most in-depth out there: http://skylinesportsmt.com/big-sky-previews-northern-colorado/

Colter does an awesome job with all the teams. You guys need to check his site out. He is always posting links on our board, and has a great pulse on the Big Sky.
