How do you feel about the Vandals?

I mean UofI back in the Sky for football. Before Boise State came along, Vandals vs Bengals was the big rivalry in the State. Hope in can become a big rivalry again. Go Bengals. :thumb:

Think about em less than bronco fans I would guess.

Still, since you brought them up, fans of ISU would prefer playing Idaho over nau, suu, uc davis, sac, cal poly, psu, and unc.

I think a rivalry between us and Idaho would make more sense than Weber, especially being that our record against Weber is less than to be desired. One thing I'm excited about is the amount of fans that will fill Holt Arena this year with that game. ISU scored by having their first game against them at home.

Looking forward to the game in Pocatello on October 6. I know a lot of Vandals that are going and I think it will bring out some of the usually hibernating Bengal fans. The tailgating should be fun. Vandal Alumni have a tailgate going in Bonneville Park, right next to the Mini Dome (yeah, that's what it will always be to me after growing up with that name.)

I think it's so much better for Idaho, just because they are going to be playing in areas with strong pockets of alumni - SE Idaho, Portland, Spokane. Reasonable trips to the Montanas as well.

And it's hapless Western New Mexico State ahead of the Vandals 10-7 in the 2nd quarter. Can the Mustangs hang on for the upset?

No

Vandals woke up late in the first half and rolled over them in the second. Don't know why they started so slow. You guys are going to really like having this rivalry back. May even help recruiting down the road. :thumb:

Looks like it my drive more traffic to this forum too. I agree, it will always be the Mini Dome to me. ;)

UI has sold out of their allotment of tickets to the ISU game on October 6th...
