How does the Big Sky determine tiebreakers?

1. Head to head
2. Games (W, L) vs. other league teams, starting from top to bottom
3. RPI
4. Coin flip.

Assuming the Griz win today and all plays out as expected from here, the Griz will probably win the tie break due to a better RPI.

yeah, figured it would come down to RPI.

Well hopefully we come back, if not hopefully PSU or EWU gets you guys when you visit them

Yeah, there's a lot of basketball still to be played.

I am beginning to think even Weber State has a chance to win the title. That is if you and Montana keep playing the way you are.

A game back in the loss column, and losing the tie-breaker to Montana? I doubt it.

Y'all need to worry about beating EWU at the moment...

If we don't host it, I'd like to see Weber host, it would suck to have it hosted in Montana.

Weber would probably win the tiebreakers since they swept NAU.

But they only have one home game left.

My bad. Of course they would.

I still like our chances. In fact, weebs is struggling with eastern tonight, up only 5 at half.

No offense, but I hope the Griz struggle in Cheney as much as UNC and Weber have.

Weber of course would need to win out for this to happen where as UNC and Griz probab can still afford another loss.

WSU is in a close one right now at EWU.

Upon tri champs, all 3 would have split obviously. Assuming NAU finishes in 2nd place Weber would host having swept the 'Jacks.

But again,WSU still has to win out - 5 games, so not so easy.

That might be a rather large "if", though. NAU still has a tough road to hoe (including a visit to Greeley), and MSU is only 1 game behind them. If MSU sneaks into that spot, UNC and Montana would have the advantage having swept MSU. At that point, we'd probably be down to RPI again, giving the #1 seed to UM.

better odds that um and unc tie with still a game or half game up on wsu. but msu could finish ahead of nau. i do like nau's remaining schedule also keep in mind msu is doing the worst in the conference right now. 6 straight losses.

i could see msu going 2-2 to finish out and nau to go 3-1 but nau is already 1 game up on msu.

msu remaining:
Feb 13 Sacramento State (Altitude) Bozeman, MT 12:00 PM
Feb 24 @ Eastern Washington Cheney, WA 8:00 PM
Feb 26 @ Portland State Portland, OR 8:00 PM
Mar 2 Idaho State Bozeman, MT 7:00 PM

nau remaining:
Feb 16 Eastern Washington Flagstaff, AZ 6:30 PM
FFeb 24 @ Sacramento State Sac, CA 8:00 PM
Feb 26 @ Northern Colorado Greeley, CO 7:00 PM
Mar 2 Portland State Flagstaff, AZ 6:30 PM

um:
Feb 16 Idaho State Missoula, MT 7:00 PM
Feb 24 @ Portland State Portland, OR 8:00 PM
Feb 26 @ Eastern Washington (Altitude) Cheney, CA 6:00 PM

unc:
Feb 26 Northern Arizona Greeley, CO 7:00 PM
Feb 28 @ Idaho State Pocatello, ID 7:00 PM
Mar 2 Sacramento State Greeley, CO 7:00 PM

wsu:
Feb 16 Portland State Ogden, UT 7:00 PM
eb 22 @ Idaho State Pocatello, ID 7:00 PM
Feb 26 @ Sac State Sac, CA 8:00 PM
Mar 2 Eastern Washington Ogden, UT 8:00 PM

scenario 1:
1. unc/griz 13-3 (griz host)
3. wsu 12-4
4. nau 9-6
5. msu 7-9

scenario 2:
1. unc/griz/wsu 12-4 (wsu host)
4. nau 9-6
5. msu 7-9

either way i just cant see nua finishing behind msu.

scenario 3:
1. unc 13-3 - host
2. griz/wsu 12-4
4. nau 9-6

scenario 4:
weber loses 1 more to finish 11-5 getting 3rd place spot and an extra home game.
