How many would like to see PSU play Cal Poly?

Tim Walsh coached at Portland State for 14 years. He is now at Cal Poly and it looks like we have a common open date this next season. I think it would be a great home and home serries and I think that would draw well for both schools. I have heard that in the past PSU has not been interested. Maybe now that Walsh is at Cal Poly that could change.

Would the fans of PSU be interested in a game or serries with Cal Poly?

Thanks. I would love to see this game happen. I think it would be good for both schools and the fact that Walsh is at Cal Poly just adds to the interest of the game in my opinion. If you would like to see this game happen, send an e-mail letting your AD know.

Have we really dropped down so far two Bowl teams are out of the question? There's nothing sacrosanct about six home games. Win or lose, we need to play up to expectations. Two division two teams doesn't cut it. Playing Poly makes it way too much a coach against coach game. I suppose if Poly plays here there are some advantages, but......

I think that is what makes a game between the two schools so interesting.

I certainly think this is a school that we should be playing fairly regularly, a la UC Davis. However, I'm pretty sure we'd lose if we played them this year, so that is my only hesitation. I did vote yes in the poll.

Cal Poly finished Weber State's schedule with the Nov. 21st game at Weber State. Cal Poly still had one game to schedule when a team bought out of one of Cal Poly's home games. Now Cal Poly needs two games to finish the schedule.
