This is maybe the first time I have wanted BYU to do well. They are like 8-0 right now. They have games agaisnt Vermont, UCLA(u of Montana beat them) and U of Arizona. The game vs Arizona is at ESA. If they win those three games, they come to the DEC unbeaten and with a top 15 ranking. How cool will it be to see a ranked team in our house? last time I recall a top 25 team in the DEC was in the 99-00 season with Utah being 19th. We won that game with Gill and Harold. Is that the last win vs a top 25 team catcat? The DEC should be sold out, I think 4-5k BYU fans will be there through... That's disheartning... In 02-03 season when we beat BYU with Boyette, I think there was 10,835 fans. Anyone recall BYU's record that year coming in? And what was the wsu to byu fan ration , 4 to 1? I hope for a sellout with over 3k wsu students!! Is it poissible, heck yes! This win with help our rpi, SOS, conference ranking ect. I believe the last BSC top 25 win was PSU at U of Portland last season? This could also serve as a 12-10 seed in the tourney if we win out, including Tulsa and the conference games. That's why I wish we had ASU under our belt. After we beat BYU, let's hope they win out, thus helping us ten fold. Am I being optimistic? you better believe so! I'm dreaming about December 21st already!

we only have one ranked win at the dee. 1977, Weber 71, #17 Utah 61
the last big sky ranked win was last yr when psu beat #25 portland. portland was ranked week 5 and i think that is when the game took place.
the last ranked win before that was psu again the year before beating #7 gonzaga.
USU wasn't ranked when they visited the Dee.

no, utah wasn't ranked and we beat them in 00-01 79-77 not 72-70. we lost to utah in 99 but if you meant 99-00 we won that game at the dee 84-72.
on the big sky website it has a list somewhere of all the big sky ranked wins. ill see if i can go find it. i dont think there are any big sky teams that have 2 ranked wins in the same season. i think if we had, we would have had a higher seed than 14 in 99.
also i didnt mention if we have had ranked teams at the dee that have beat us, those stats i do not know.

Utah hadn't dropped out of the top 25 when they came to Ogden that year. Granted, they weren't ranked at the end of the season. However, when they were still ranked, Weber beat them. Hence one of the reason why Utah got knocked out of the top 25. If you end the season ranked, ESPN puts it on the schedule of every school you played. If you were ranked but didn't end the season, ESPN doesn't acknowledge that the team was ranked. They only care about how the team ended the season. However, when Weber played and beat them, the Utes, they were ranked.
When USU played Weber in 03-04 they were not ranked. USU had played one game, Ft. Lewis, and we all know that a Big West team, USU was in that conference then, wouldn't start the season ranked. Yes, they ended the season ranked. Losing to Hawaii in the first round of the NIT in Logan. They didn't crack the top 25 till February.
I did have the wrong score, for the Utah game, but I was going off of memory, I made the mistake of not checking the internet, like you evidently did, since I know you didn't know that score off the top of your head. Lol you WANK!!
As great as a top 25 win would be for Weber, I still cant see myself cheering for BYU, I despise BYU, the only time I cheer for BYU or Utah for that matter is when they are playing the Faggies, I hate them the most.
I hate BYU because of the local state media, I hate Utah (now) for thier "Im Better than You" attitude, and most of all I hate Utah State, because of thier incredibly obnoxious fanbase, and Stew Morril.
