GDTBAE, thanks for the link. I learned two facts about the EWU Foundation. Assets were $17.9 million as of 10/14 and cash donations averaged $2.25 million annually over the last five years.
I also learned that the Gateway Project was unveiled in the spring of 2012 and would add 8,000 seats and other amenities at a cost of $20 million plus. There was no current update on the site.
I do not how the Gateway will be paid for, but most places require private money, which may include some revenue bonds. It looks like to me that Eagle supporters have not donated enough money to get the Gateway off the ground.
If I was able to, I would donate the $10 million, provided I had naming rights - Montana Eagle Stadium.

Keep your seats at your shitty little stadium. I will watch The Griz kick your ass on tv and not put any money into your community. I will go to a local establishment here and give them my money.

Kalm, my daughter is a student at UM and I have asked her several times to get a shot of WA griz empty and the little Sh*t won't do it! I have wanted to do the same post.
