Solid game. TOP 34 min; 3 sacks; numerous pressures; TO's. Room for improvement, but enjoyed the throttling of an inferior team and the extra effort on defense. Safe trip home team, sleep in tomorrow and get back to work Monday ;-)

If you did not see the game you missed the dominance of Samson Ebukam.

He was giving their #77 fits because he simple could not stop him. This young man was an absolute wrecking ball.

Nice to see defense step up.

Is it me or is the off line not clicking yet? Seems like pass protection at times seems spotty. Sure hurts not having Shaq Hill to force safeties deep. Teams are pressing WRs with no deep threat other than #10 who is getting double teamed.

Love having Jalen Moore back. Huge being able to grind teams down and kill the clock which in turn allows the defense to rest.

I really thought he would be the biggest defensive star this year. I think he can be really disruptive. But I really haven't heard the name of any defensive player in regards to being a game changer. I think Ebukam can be that guy, and Raynes now that he is back. I think the D has improved over our last two outings. I hope we're on the right track!

We rotate so many different guys on the D Line that I think it's hard for any single player there to rack up tons of stats. Not questioning the coaches, but there have been a few situations where the opposition is in a 3rd and long and I've been thinking "why is Ebukam not in the game? He is our best pash rusher." Kind of a head scratcher. I understand the need to rotate guys against teams that are trying to execute 90 plays a game, but sometimes I think it effects our identity as a defense when you don't consistently have the same 11 guys playing on the field with one another. Part of me thinks that you put the best 11 on the field for the majority of the game, and sub as necessary. But of course, I am not a coach.

EWURanger,
I am not the Coach either. They rotate the "D" Line Players, keeps them fresh, seems like it works. I would also like to see the best Players play, and come out when they get tired. Samson Ebukam is an outstanding Player on our Defense. #90 Keenan Williams is also coming into his own. Heard #98 Monile Sarte name mentioned a few times, along with JT Tulia #99. I didn't make but 1 practiced, didn't realize we were short LB. #35 Alek Kacmarcik, #59 Kurt Calhoun were missing from missing from the line up with hamstring problems. I am so happy to see #4, Todd Raynes back in the line up, he had a great game as usual. Congratulations to our team, they really played an outstanding Game Saturday, on both sides of the ball. Will take a few more days off from practices this week, still having problem with very bad cold. Will keep on drinking plenty of fluids. Will miss Coaches Show today, will drop off my Daughter Chris, and go back and pick her up after the show. Go Eagles!!!!!Vic Wallace

To All
Forgot to mention, we kept ISU Scoreless in the 2nd half, until they scored just at the end of the game.
Noticed Nic Sblendorio didn't get any more playing time after his one reception, hoping he is not having problems with his shoulder. Glad to hear some of our Young Players getting some playing time, i.e. # 80 Stu Stiles, #81 Zach Eagle, #88 Terence Grady, all Wide Receivers, #74 Nick Ellison, OL. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

To All,
Sorry I haven't had much to say about our Coaches and Team. Yesterday was one of the 1st day in the past two weeks, I was able to watch some of the practice. I watched it from my truck in the upper parking lot. Still have a little cold, and don't want to have it come back. Don't know exactly when the team will be leaving today, have heard different information. Saw some of the Redshirts scrimmage yesterday after practice, we will be ok once they get an opportunity to move up. Here is hoping the altitude there in Colorado doesn't affect our team. Early game, 12:30 p.m. our time on the radio. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace
