ISU's defense will be just what the doctor ordered for the PSU offense.
PSU is healthy, at home, and pissed. The last time we played a BSC team with a weak defense, Smith was offensive player of the week.
This will be over at the half.

Howdy fellas...
PSU will be the Bengals toughest test maybe of the season... I watched the Cal game - the Viks played the run tough despite the score.
I think ISU has proved the ability to move the ball on anyone, and I don't think PSU will change that. The question is whether the defense can put up a few stops.
No predictions, other than I expect a good game, and I am coming into Portland to support the Big Sky's leading rusher... JB.

Yeah, my first trip to PGE Park. I saw it on Earth Google - seems like an odd shaped field. I suppose there is a large section of bleachers put in for FB.
Is the seating done open or assigned? I may have one less ticket than I need and will have to buy one at the gate...

Actually, seating is only on one side of the field, and one endzone area. People have been thinking of putting up bleachers on the other side of the field...but it hasn't happened yet.
As for seating, officially it is assigned seating...but I never see any ushers checking, and it seems like people just sit where they want.

Whereabouts will the ISU section be? I understand we are going to have a decent contingent of people mostly from the Washington area...
Anaheim Stadium is somewhat configured like that here in the L.A. area, just seats more - 60k???
Not real crazy about that layout for football, but it looks nicer than imagined. The sat photo does it no justice.
Here's looking to a good game.
Last year's #5 on PSU's team, Allen Kennett, was a young man I coached against when he played his last year of youth ball. On defense, he was a one mand wrecking ball. It was great to see him last year getting the opportunities he did on offense. I spoke to him after the ISU loss, and though he was deeply disturbed over the loss, he cheered up long enough for us to talk briefly about the good ole days.
Any word on Allen?
