Credit Grayson for hitting a clutch 3 at the end of the game and for the Wildcats finding a way to win. I heard it was mascot day at halftime. I remember when that would pack the house. Now listed crowd of 3,000. Lillard was one of the 3,000 in attendance.

Can they carry the momentum and win on the road? Seeing Sac State beat Montana handily, I will say no. I think Weber State is a 4-6 spot finish in the league.

In other news, former Weber State University President has a hell of a mess he has to clean up. Previous USU President pulling a Trump and going on a spending bender on her office and personal expenses including a luxurious bidet and heated golf cart.

After seeing what Bovee went through and the crap this guy is going to inherit, I’m thinking no one will choose USU when they leave Weber State.

Wow, wow and wow!! Gave up 104 points to Sac State last night. Sac has played several Christian and NAIA schools and never scored as many points as they did against Weber, 104! Yes, they were hot but we did nothing to contest them. They got 3 pointer after 3 pointer without Weber even trying to contest those shots in the first half. Then, in the second half, Weber adjusted to slow down the three point shooting and gave up lay-up after lay-up and a number of 10-15 foot uncontested makes. Seems we can only defense one part of the game at a time; not all segments. Folks, that is coaching, or should I say not coaching. Weber was out-coached in a major way. A rookie head coach made Duft look like a dear lost in the headlights. We will end up around a 500 record (the same as he has averaged in his years as head coach) and will win one, maybe two games, in the Big Sky playoffs. And it seems that the Administration is satisfied with that! Makes me very sad, and sometimes pissed off.

There are 8 games left in the regular season. I see us winning winning 3, maybe 4 (UNC, NAU, UofM) and losing 5 games (@ Idaho, @EWU, MSU, @ISU and PSU) to finish with a conference record of 8-10. Again, hope I am wrong; that the players can overcome sub-par coaching and win games on their own.

I will say, one of the reasons the defense was so bad yesterday was that Sac has some really fast and talented guards, and we have two former starting guards sick or injured. With Trevor and Jace we are much more competitive in this game. Having said that, the coaches can't let us get worked like that. Offense took an 8 minute break in the first half, much better in the send half but still no closer than 11 points. In conference we are the 2nd worst defensive team in the league.

Seems like another lost season. The talent level on this team is much better than last years, but the results are the same. That tells us one thing...coaching.
