Any win is good........made sweeter by the Bears execution in every phase.
We finally used #84 the way he should be.
We also dislodged a number of balls from receivers who should have made catches........any time that occurs, you've got to credit the kids for making a statement.
Morris got another chance. Just from the physical ability he has, he could easily be a force......if he ever gets out of the coach's dog house (the foot injury is not the issue).
Kick offs were just plain fun to watch. Granted there was a wind assist during the second half, but new life on the legs was apparent.
Running game was just exciting. From grind it out to big plays the Bears sure controlled the
I am glad that I could get to this game
To be frank, ISU looked like we have in previous games.....we had our way with them.
I know the coaches were attempting to motivate but their"enthusiasm"
Upstaged the players at times ( imho ).
All on all, it was a good day to be a bear!
I guess we enjoy it for a few hours, then get ready for the jacks.
Reality check: good win for us but the fact remains this staff was brought on to do more than beat a team we marked as a W the past hand full of years. If this is a turning point then great! but if this is a benchmark on a season I can't help but wonder what the hell are we jumping for joy over? The fact that we beat a team that we should beat routine? Not taking anything away from anybody but we arnt exactly moving forward yet and the crazy sideline reacting as if this was a quality or average team says it all. Tone it down and act like we should be there rather than we're relieved to be there.
Um didn't you pick UNC to lose earlier in the thread?? Now you're talking like you know all about it.
