coach Mike Kramer is not happy with his QB play. The only reason I'm bringing this up is because in this interview he's pretty honest and many will consider what he said as throwing players under the bus. He mentions how all the QB's wasted his time out on the field. If Collins said something like this, we would have ex-players, players parents, etc. on this board again calling for his resignation. Is the only difference that Kramer has room to talk like this because he wins? Room for discussion and debate. Here's a link to the video. The guy is intense!

Beardown,
Yes, that is the only difference, in my opinion. In my experience as a coach, parent and fan, winning cures many things. A winning coach has a lot more latitude in the things he or she can say and do, over a losing coach.

I would say Coach Kramer still has the respect to say those type of things as he has earned that right with his HC record. Its pretty hard to let Coach Collins get away with it when he can't back it up yet.. I have said it before and I will say it again. Winning will cure everything that is wrong with our program, otherwise all this losing does, is breed hate and discontent !!

Absolutely winning makes everything better!
In my humble opinion, the relationship between coaches and players is even more important.
The one thing that we never know (unless you're part of the program) is how those statements are followed up. Yes, Coach Kramer threw those kids under the bus. There are certainly better ways to get one's point across then to suggest that players "wasted my time "......I mean, come on, isn't it his job to spend time with and develop players that he invited to play there?
I haven't seen other interviews, so I am not familiar with his player relationships. Respect is a two way street.....I guess we'll see how things play out. It was interesting to hear him say that
he didn't do a great job either. Those words seemed patronizing.....time will tell.
