Idaho

No energy. No intensity. No urgency. Did not play like champions. Didn't deserve to win. Looks like they really didn't care. Disappointing. :wtf:

This might be the best description of a game I've ever read. Perfect! You hit the nail right on the head. Highly disappointing loss. Let's play to their level and then get pushed around all night. Weber just didn't want it.

Our rebounding and free throw shooting sucked. Defense would be good and then we would give up an offensive rebound. Joel looked tentative to me. What's with Richardson jacking up 3s when he isn't hitting them. That was not a good outing for us. Our D kept us in that game when nothing else was working. :wall:

Ryan shouldn't be starting. Heavens, right now I don't think he should be playing. He is nonexistent. Gittens, Baker, John would all be better options.

If this is the level we're gonna play at, we should start bidding now to host CIT games. At least at home we'd have a chance and a little revenue. Good luck at the dance Montana. Don't embarrass the Sky too badly.

I'm glad Bolomboy is back, but I hope for the rest of his time at Weber (not long obviously), his teammates don't use him as a crutch too much and instead use him as a weapon. Sometimes it seems like plenty of players just exist on the floor expecting Joel and Jeremy to do it all. I don't know if that's actually true, but sometimes it seems like it.

There were a lot of empty minutes out there on the floor tonight (particularly from players who played 15+ minutes).

Braxton: 26 minutes, 1 rebound, 5 points
Richardson: 16 minutes, 0 rebounds, 0 points
Hill: 15 minutes, 4 rebounds, 2 points
Baker: 15 minutes, 1 rebound, 0 points

Can't let a team get 20 offensive rebounds on you and expect to be in the game. Idaho is not a good team but we let them school us on the boards. Absolutely "no" blocking out on defensive rebounds. Giving up just a few less offensive rebounds would have given Weber the victory even as bad as they played.

If Weber had shot their normal 70% at the FT line it would have translated into 5 more points, enough to give them the victory. Weber wasn't really beaten, they handed Idaho the victory!

Richardson is in the game for his 3 point shooting and for the last few games he has not performed. He brings little else to the table, average defense, can't penetrate without turning the ball over, doesn't rebound. So why is he starting? There are 3 or 4 other options that would be better at this point.

Senglin played like a man on an island. No involving his teammates, just selfish and sometimes stupid attempts to get his shot off. Also, he didn't have a good night shooting. If he had shot his normal numbers Weber would have won the game.

Joel looked "gassed" to me several times during the game. I guess he lost some of his game legs in the layoff. His FT shooting at the end wasn't up to par for him. Every missed shot was missed short. Didn't look like he had the umph to get the ball over the front of the rim.

I thought Randy did a hell of a job coaching during Joel's absence, but he didn't have them ready to go last night. From my perspective that is the fifth or sixth time this season that the team came out not ready to compete.

I think baker and Williams gives us our best shot at small forward,Richardson is really giving us nothing right now. It's hard to watch the brick 3's.It's crunch time and that means putting your best shot at winning on the floor.Everybody struggled last night,I guess that's because Imaho's defense is the best in the sky.And they proved how good at rebounding they are too.
