This was being talked about in the Idaho State Journal blog, and that's what the reporter stated. I think it's true, but --
The Big Sky Conference website mentioned that if EWU, MSU, and ISU were all tied, then EWU wouldn't get in if Montana finished behind UNC and Weber State. Is there any realistic way for Montana to finish third? If all 3 teams are tied at the top, Weber takes first, and the placement of the Bears and Griz would have to be determined by RPI, wouldn't it (since both have the same record for teams below them)? I don't see UNC's RPI jumping above Montana's, especially if UNC loses to ISU to force the ties.
Who knows about tomorrow night. It is senior night, so hopefully there will be some emotion from the players. EWU upset Monana, albeit in Cheney, but anything is possible. ISU still has a chance if they win tomorrow, but if they don't, they are definitely out. Let's hope the players see it that way.
After this season, thank God for alcohol.
