Incredible Rookie Debut!

Former Sac State OF James Outman homered on the first swing of his first ML at bat yesterday, launching a 1-1 pitch into the Rockies bullpen at Coors Field. The 2018 7th round pick wasn't done there, as he became the first Dodger rookie ever to record a home run, three hits, three RBI, and two runs scored in his ML debut. And he did it from what used to be known as the "pitcher's slot," AKA the nine hole. The result was a 7-2 Dodger road victory. And his fiance also shot cell video of it from her spot in the stands. Wow!

Way to go, Mr. Hornet!
