Injuries Starting to Add Up

It is what it is. We can't do anything about it but send the next guy up. We were not suppose to be that good last year and see what happened. No one knew who Mario was at the beginning of last year. We roll with the punches and let Coach figure it out. I'm tired of worrying about it. This is a team sport. Suck it up and press forward. Go Bengals!

So true, football is a contact sport, its always next man up!!! and the next should always be ready to be up!!

1st man up...Mangum and Manu back at Monday practice.

These are good things. :thumb: But, according to the Journal, Manu only lasted 20 minutes before shutting it down.

If it is indeed a persistent foot injury, this is something he may be dealing with the rest of the season.

The defensive two-deeps listed by Kyle Franko is full of freshmen at linebacker and safety. I guess you can look at it two ways: the Bengals are one injury away from disaster at those positions, or this is a really, really good recruiting class. I think it's probably a combination of the two.

Manu is out for the season. Will redshirt and return next year.
Journal story:

There is an apt saying, "Man plans and God laughs." A corollary would be, "football fans fantasize; coaches cringe."
