One of the CB's; not sure which one.

Wadood

Wadood got hurt? I was wondering why he wasn't in there during their passing drives. I did think he came back in on the last drive.

We better toughen up immediately. We can't have this rash of injuries so early.

Can't stress this enough, but this is why I HATED this game on the sked. It made no sense. We didn't need to increase our strength of schedule, having a top FBS team and a team like Montana State as a non-con opponent was plenty. But playing this game immediately after an emotional game like Oregon in a damn dome was plain stupid.

I feel like we should have won this game, and coming in fresh or later in the season would have probably meant a win. But you could so obviously see the difference in intensity from last week to this week. We just looked pedestrian in this game...

Year in, year out, we have some of the worst schedules for a top-tier FCS team.

If someone from Cheney can keep this thread updated with info, it would be appreciated. Getting injury info from out of town is borderline impossible since Eastern doesn't include it in their press releases. If half of these guys are out next week, MSU suddenly becomes awfully tough to beat.

If your going to be the best you have to play the best... intensity had nothing to do with the mental focus and the penalties. We will be back on the RED to deliver with intensity on SATURDAY.

Raynes and Jones didn't practice today, but Kupp did per Jim Allen of the Spokesman.

Hennessey and Hill are both out this weekend, along with Curtis and a couple others that slip my mind.

I thought I read that Curtis, Jones, Hill, Raynes, Moore, and Hennessey are all out. Kupp is listed as questionable as is Ebukam.

Wonder if Kreifels is off of his suspension yet. If not, then there's another one.

We need to toughen up. It seems like we wind up in this position every year. Hopefully we can get past Sac State next week and get everyone back after the bye week.

We are pretty banged up at RB. I'm assuming that Jalen, Jabari, and McPherson will all be out for this game. That leaves true Frosh Malcalm "smash" Williams as the only back with carries left healthy. Anyone have any thoughts on how we will move forward and if we have anyone to backup Malcolm?

On the coach's show tonight Jabari Wilson was being interviewed and said he had passed all concussion tests and was ready to play.

Jabari Wilson never got hurt, he got KO'd in a collision. You could see him drop, and he came right back up and was clearly coherent. Nowadays, they don't let you re-enter if you lose consciousness even if you aren't injured. However, much like a fighter getting sparked by a one-punch knockout, those kind of shots seldom cause any long term damage. It's much easier on the body to get instantly dropped than it is to take repeated blows.

The worst concussions are often ones that you don't realize you have any you continue to play through.
