Damn, he must not have passed one of the tests. On the coaches show the other night he was saying he was going to be GTG on Saturday. That sucks.

WTF happened to McNanny? He was involved on one of the last plays of the game versus MSU and didn't get hurt. Did he injure his leg on that shanked FG? Sick, maybe?

LDopaPDX,
Saw the Team off this am. They were airborne at approximately 08:21 hrs, heading for Sac St. Spoke with Trainer, he stated that 60% of injured Players will be ready to go for the game. Jalen Moore and Colon Cosette both Running Backs stated they will be ready for Cal Polly. The Redshirts Freshmen on the OL will be ready next year when the Seniors graduated, they are some big Young men. Team left on an Eastern Airliner 737. It was blue, not Red/Black. Was ready to tell everyone Michael Roos Purchased if for the team, but I watched the Pope all this week, and didn't feel like telling untruth :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: This time tomorrow we should have a 2 TD lead, heading towards another "Victory" Have a great weekend. Eaglefanatical,
Spoke to Jabari Wilson yesterday, he stated he will be ready to go. I mentioned a few more long runs like against MSU, he said he would try very hard. Most of our injuries are ready to go approximately 60% for this game. The rest should be ready for Northern AZ, if not before. Shac Hill is finished for the season, saw him yesterday with a very big bandage in his knee, and on crutches. :x :x :x :( :( :( Vic Wallace

krg281,
Glad you had the opportunity to see your son play. We saw the Team off this am, how long was the flight? My old bones is telling me Jordan West, Jabari Wilson, Cooper Kupp, Samson Ebucam, Matthew Sommer, J - Tee Tuili I s going to have a great game, furthermore the OL/Defense are going to be great Saturday. I expect a BIG WIN. Every time I tell coach how much we will win by, he always say I will take a Victory by (1), doesn't have to be a blow out. I agree with him. Enjoy the game tomorrow. That's sad to hear about Shaq Hill, what a crappy way to end your Senior season. Still, I think there's only a couple season-ending injuries in all these we've had. It could be worse.

My understanding is he will be eligible to red shirt this year. I certainly hope we see him on the field again, very exciting player!

EWURanger,
You are correct, Shaq will have a Redshirt year available. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Hate to see him with all those bandages on the knee. He was at the walk through on Friday on his crutches. Just came back from Women Volleyball they defeated Northern Colorado 3-0, that is two victories so far. They defeated North Dakota Friday night 3-0 also, the team is 2-0 in Big Sky Standings. Women Soccer Team is 7-1-1, they are also doing very Well. Hoping for an Outstanding Game later today by the Eagles Football Team. Go Eagles!!!!!Vic Wallace

That seriously sucks about Shaq. Who else was injured during the Sac St game?

Larry mentioned DeBord and Gamboa having to leave the game with concussions. I think there may may have also been some minor dings in that game, but nothing season ending.

EWURanger,
Saw both Clay DeBorg, and Victor Gamboa both at practice yesterday, along with Nic Sblendorio. Of course they are all taking it easy since the Concussion/seperated shoulder. Nic think he could be back for the next game, told him to make sure the injury is completely healed before he comes back to play. Heard that Todd Raynes wants to play, he doesn't like sitting out a game. Saw about 10 more new Players out, spoke to a young man from Lavenworth (sp), WA. last name of Merritt, think he is a Running Back softly spoken, he said he is ready to get into action. Today is supposed to be last practice until Tuesday, time for Coaches to go on Recruiting Trips. Vic Wallace

It sucks for Shaq but how can he redshirt, didn't he already redshirt in '11 and I don't think he has missed significant time since. Love watching him play, hes a great player, but maybe I missed something about his eligibility next year...

Not saying he will or will not try to gain one, but a medical RS is different than a regular RS. I believe you can be eligible for a medical RS if you miss an entire season (or more) due to injury. I believe Hamlin was granted one of these, which is why he was at Eastern for basically 6 years if I remember correctly.

You are correct in the fact that medical redshirts are looked at differently. The first hurdle is whether or not the player played in under 30% of the games that season. If so, they can then appeal to the big sky conference which then submits to the NCAA. That stinks to hear about Shaq. Kid was a very good player and that's a crappy way to end your season
