I've watched the four top CAA teams all play this year, and I truly believed the top team in that conference was Villanova from day #1. They seemed head-and-shoulders better than New Hampshire (no offensive speed), Delaware (over lack of team speed), and William and Mary (not enough playmakers). Villanova seems to have a complete team and the experience of winning once before.

How did they wind up finishing the season 7-4 and barely squeeking into the playoffs? Of the two CAA teams left, Villanova seems the far better team despite the weaker record which includes a heads-up win over Delaware. Was there a time that the team just wasn't playing well to cause all those losses?

did you watch their games online or through espn3 or at bars?

If online, I'd love to know how....feel free to PM me if necessary.

Matt Szczur missed seven games with a high ankle sprain. He came back for the road win at then #1 ranked UD, and they haven't lost since.

Against App, he was 2-2 passing for 58 yards and a td, he caught 4 passes for 88 yards and another td, and ran the ball 16 times for 104 and 3 td's.

For those who don't remember, he was the kid that tore up the Griz in the title game last year. I think he's listed as a wr, but they run a lot of option and wildcat, so you see him everywhere.

seems as though the general consensus is we're going to get roasted by 40 points on friday, no need to attend the game gentlemen (and hannah:)), but more seriously, I think we have a better shot at this than people on the net, nova fans would like to believe. No doubt they're on a roll right now, but other than the major turnovers in the last game, we've been playing some pretty good ball too, with or without TJ.

They've been beaten 4 times this year (yes, I know their best player was out for 7 games), so it can be done, and we're the home team here, a very long way from Philly.
