Interesting comment on UM QB

Found this on the UM forum, interesting.

Just heard that J.J (Jordan Johnson) left Missoula earlier this week and will make up his mind this week if he will be staying or transfering. If he does transfer he will enroll at PSU redshirt for a year and then hopefully compete for a starting spot the next year. They way I understood it if he left the girl would drop everything but if he stayed she will continue to press charges. If they went to court they believe he would the case but there is always that chance. If that did happen he would be charged as a sex offender for the rest of his life and would not be able to follow his fathers footsteps as a math teacher. Hope he tries to fight this through court and take his chances.

What's really interesting is that a couple of these Griz homers in the forum hate PSU soooo much because of what they perceived as an illegal block against a Griz that ended up injuring the player. So according to these dipsh*t Griz homers the PSU program is now undisciplined and a bunch of renegades. I guess if we were so inclined to throw turds against the fan we could hate the Griz by painting the entire Griz program as a bunch of rapists. We know that's not true and we know that players make mistakes on the field as well - things happen so fast that mistakes are bound to happen, especially when less experienced kids take the field. Enough of that though.

If in fact there has been mutual interest in JJ coming to the Park Blocks how would any of you feel about that happening? I have been following this saga for a while now and it's difficult to ascertain if the way the process has been handled by the University of Montana has negatively impacted all/any of the parties to the point of never finding out the truth.

I guess that those tools over on the UM board forget about the Weber State player that had his career ended a couple of years ago thanks to a chop block. It's comical that they bitch about our supposed 'dirty play,' yet they seem to lead the Big Sky in arrests for football players year in and year out. Worried about our play on the field? Why don't they worry about their players driving drunk, raping, and killing people before pointing a finger at our play on the field.

Regarding Johnson transferring to PSU... He seemed talented to me, but hasn't he been injury prone?

If he is truly guilty of that crime, I'd rather he doesn't come to PSU. I'd rather have a bunch of high-character guys than talented players who get in trouble all the time.

Totally agree, DustRunner. It may be a little old school, but I like the idea of a roster full of morally solid, humble & hungry players willing to take daily instruction and focused on keeping it clean off the field. I don't want to hear about PSU players being investigated or charged every few weeks.

Newbie here. From my first ten minutes of reading, it would appear that there is as much antipathy for the Griz on this forum as there is for PSU on Egriz. Not trying to instigate here, it's just an observation. I for one don't harbor any harsh feelings regarding PSU football, and am pulling for you guys in the CC game. CC fans and players are always talking about how they could compete with or beat the Griz as well as most other teams in the Big Sky. PLEASE, put those discussions to rest. In addition, don't be hatin :D

This rumor never had any truth to it. It floated around egriz for a while, and I have heard from a good source that this was never remotely close to true. The case between Jane Doe (alleged victim) and Jordan Johnson has begun and is in full swing. There has already been a very compelling motion to dismiss from JJ's attorney; we in Griz nation are awaiting the results of that motion. I just hope justice is served, one way or another. The topic has been beaten to death on Egriz, so visit the site if you're looking for more information regarding the case.

Welcome aboard hm.grwn.grizfan - and your observation is duly noted. My season ticket seats are located near the fifty yard line (good seats) and every time we play UM in PDX we are surrounded by Griz fans and I have always enjoyed their company, and my wife and I have even treated some of them to a few brews, and vice versa. It just goads me to have some of the egriz faithful dump on the Vik program because of a kid's mistake on the field, and paint the entire program as "dirty". That was the gist of my comments above, and when guests visit the egriz site and see that kind of talk it just pisses us off ! But we're mostly adults over here, and even if some of our vitriol is based on jealousy (who wouldn't be envious of a program with as much support as you guys have), we are also aware that tides turn, and programs awaken. We don't get a chance to battle with you this year, but we do want to prove to the Cats and the Eags that we aren't anybody's little brother . Good luck this year and we hope your team stays healthy. Who knows, maybe we'll meet in December!

:thumb: Hope you guys lay a thumping on the scats as well!

Ten minutes of reading on EGriz would lead you to believe that the Grizz don't even like each other, let alone the other teams in the conference. I hope that some day PSU can draw the same kinds of crowds and have the same winning tradition, without all of the other distractions.
