Irvine or Roberts?

We already played both this year and beat both. According to the CIT website, it will be one of these teams.
Which team do we wanna see here?

I would like to see ORU, but I'm happy with anyone they bring in.

We are getting this game because of the crowd we had tonight. Lets pack the Dee again. These are all bonus games. It's great to still be playing and playing high quality teams. :thumb:

This is a great WSU team. They are a blast to watch. It was great to see a large student contingent at this one. Let's shoot for a few thousand more fans at this next game to keep this thing rolling.

I'm lovin' it!

If we see ORU would that mean they don't come to us as part of the Bracketbuster deal?

No way, that is a seperate deal, it has nothing to do (or shouldnt) with our BB game with them, Oral Roberts would still owe us a game because of the BB. :thumb:

Seems to me that Irvine would be the easier matchup for us, but we have already seen them at the Dee. Oral Roberts was a great game for the bracketbuster down in Tulsa, so it'd be fun to have those guys at the Dee for the first time. The selfish fan in me wants Irvine, but the competitive fan in me wants Oral Roberts...

Absolutely agree. I'd be pretty surprised if Oral Roberts isn't coming to town Wednesday, the better team of the two.

Last Wednesday's attendance wasn't great and I worry they might see less this weeknight than on the weekend. Saturday's crowd against Air Force was decent but the best part was that we were pretty vocal. It would be awesome if Weber could host-out.

I would take Irvine just based on the fact they would be more travel weary. They are in Tulsa right now, play a game, then would have to fly to SLC without going home most likely due to the game being Wednesday. That will make a difference compared to ORU who is home now. Also Irvine will be in 3 different time zones within a few days of each other. That can play around with your body clock adding to fatigue.

Not saying we wouldn't have beat AFA anyway (I believe we would have) but they had a brutal travel schedule leading up to the game against Weber. They had to be tired by the second half.

Plus Irvine already knows the hostile environment they'll be coming into and knowing they've already lost in the DEC.

Hoping for a great game Wednesday no matter the opponent! Let's Go Weber!

The ticket office has already sold more tix for this one than they did for Saturday against Air Force. AWESOME! No slump in this Wednesday's crowd.
