From what I understand Duft has told Dame that we are one of the most underfunded NILs in the conference, which is not true at all. It’s my understanding that Webers NIL is 3rd behind Montana and Montana State. Dame wants to give him a chance with a “level playing field”. So Duft swindled Dames influence to save his bacon for another year atleast.

We saw what happens when you bring in talented players and a bad coach under Larry Farmer. Weber went 10-0 Larry’s first season then the team learned his “High Post Offense”. It was all downhill from there.

Duft had nba talent and 5 returning starters last season and did nothing with it. Talent can't overcome terrible coaching.
