Is there any possible way....[get a billboard]

we could raise enough money on this board to get a billboard together quickly for FEB and hopefully hosting the BSC tourney in March.
"WE BACK RAHE" billboard with Lillards mug shooting, and Sessions mug dunking. This would make a statement to Rahe. Over on the Aggie board they are talking about Rahe moving up the food chain so to speak and it kind of makes me sik to think about.

Does anybody know if you have to sign 6-12 month contracts with Reagan Ad. and others or will they let you do a couple month billboard.
 
SMJCPA is a CFO of a large local business that supports WSU sports. There is a chance we could get him to front the money required.

It's a minimum 6 month contract for roughly 1k per month

SMJ rules! I will also drop $50 if it helps him any for the 6th month contract.
 
If there are 10 of us willing to put up about $100 PER MONTH, I would be willing to get the ball rolling on this. I have to have firm commitments. I will talk to a couple of billboard companies, and then get the Athletic Dpt involved.

thats not very realistic since some of the posters on this thread are students. but what if a bunch of us can help, what can the athletic dept do?
 
I think that it would be cool if someone set up a booth or something at the next game Friday and have a donation pot for this idea of the billboard and other marketing ideas within the fan base. Have it be announced during the game and have the forum fans also drop off their money at this time. And see how much you can get from this. On the billboard it would be worth it to put the 3 game homestand in February. Mabye even the conference tournament dates as well. If the athletic got on board and even let you advertise the games for $1 each, I would beat that you get your 8-10k per game. I mean there is ISU and UNC on that homestand. Just some ideas.
 
The athletic Dpt would handle the money and get the artwork and etc for the board. All those seriously interested and willing to put some money up on a monthly basis should pm me and I will put together the list of names, and amounts, contact an outdoor advertising co, and then go present this to the AD. That way, the athletic dpt controls the money, and we all get a tax deduction for our contributions. They can also put up the football schedule and start to solicit season tickets for the football games this fall.
 
If we can get the $ worked out, then I will contact an outdoor advertising company that I have contacts at, and then go from there. We may be able to get one for a shorter period of time, but we need to be prepared for worst case. I think that they will be able to give me a good deal. :?
 
If we are to use a round figure of $1000/mo for 6 months we need to have $6000 to make this thing work. So far with PM's and here on this thread we have about $1500. If this is to happen we need some more help. :idea:
